I have a LavaTube 2.0 coming tomorrow.
On Volcanoecigs site they sell the
AW IMR High Drain 18650 LiMN (2000 mAH)
They also sell the ULTRAFIRE BRC 18650 3000 mAH.
For use in the LT 2.0 only.
3000 mAH sounds pretty great. I've read some bad things
about these Ultrafire batts though. Anyone know more about these??
Better to stay with the AW IMR? or is there something better?

Thanks.

Any particular Model Panasonic? Panasonic is like one of the best brands there is.
I'd rather have a name brand battery!
Thanks!

If it will fit, the Panasonic CGR18650CH. Protected, IMR and 2250mAh. A little longer than a standard 18650 because of the protection circuit. I've seen them in the price range of $8-$10. Here's one for just under $8 + $2.15 shipping (to me).

The Ultrafire BRCs (3000 & 4000 mAh) aren't worth the trash bag that they should be thrown out in. Tests have been abysmal; grossly inflated capacity, wide variance between cells, different cells in the same wrapper, ect...

A single cell VV device needs a high drain battery. Stick to the trusted names; Panasonic, AW, and I'd even say Efest IMRs if the other 2 weren't readily available.

I also highly recommend the Panasonic CGR18650CH. A protection circuit is not needed and many protected batteries won't fit properly in many LTs.

what they said... that panny cgr 2250 fits in both my provari and the vamo perfectly. its only a millimeter or 2 longer? i think. i get them at orbtronic for like 9 bucks.

Yup, just long enough NOT to fit in my cheapy 18xx dual charger without denting the negative cap.
