And to keep the 2nd hand "smoke" crowd off my rear end, I don't vape where you can't smoke.

How does one enlighten anyone by hiding?

I do not BOLDLY Vape in public, but simply take a draw as I feel the urge. I generally carry a more passive device while out.
Never once have I had a complaint, though I have had a few conversations start over the curiosity toward my device.

Often by non-smoking relatives of smokers taking interest.

Was this on the forum for Landover Baptist Church? If so, that's a satirical website created by a gentleman who was expelled from Liberty University. It's definitely worth spending a few minutes perusing if you're in need of a good chuckle
Thank god that was not a real website. It fooled me. You just restored a little bit of my faith in humanity. Well not really, we are still pretty messed up in the head. If you don't believe me try looking up the economics of cigarettes. This issue is not just about the tobacco industry, the government and the health care industry making money. It's got more to do with the financial gain to all of society to keep people smoking. It costs a lot more to support a healty society that lives longer and has to deal with normal old age stuff that dealing with short term health care costs of sick people that die early.

We have a city ordnance that bans smoking in public spaces...even in a city park. Also recently amended to include vaping. You can still vape in a vape shop...at least for now.

I don't hide, I just have better things to do than hand over 25-50 bucks to the tight @$$ city.

Lucky for us, for the moment anyway, my city defines smoking very explicitly, as consuming tobacco by combusting it with a flame and inhaling it into your lungs. Could be because there's some "big wigs" who run vape shops lol ;-)

And my cardiologist is the one who recommended vaping to me. My GP wanted me to go cold turkey, period. But I do think he will be happy I've quit smoking when I go see him next month anyway - but I anticipate a now when you gonna quit vaping discussion. Cardiologist will be over the moon. :)
