Oh man. GREAT find here brother! Thanks for sharing this!

 BT is only going to ramp up their ($$) effort to influence Washington. I hadn't even considered how Wall Street might factor into the vaping industries current hurdles. It seems that while the public is looking at one or two issues being brought up by mainstream media, there is a shuffling of chess pieces going on in a whole other playground...

Truth About Vaping - Episode 1 "Why They Hate Us"
I saw this a few days ago - I find the whole thing incredible.
Our governments told us: 'Listen to the scientists and the doctors ..smoking will kill you' ...so eventually, we find a way to stop smoking ....so why aren't they telling us to listen tot the scientists and doctors now? - they suddenly became untrustworthy? ;)

I wish there was more being done in EU for vapers, here it seems the laws are just passed with out any resistance, excluding UK,
Language barriers play a big part IMO, very frustrating.
We're wondering how things will go after the election - a recent poll of the various political parties showed Tories most in favour of e-cigs ..but I wonder how that will change after we all cast our votes for PM next month!
There's a school of thought that says whoever we get, if they're going to restrict/regulate e-cigs in some way, it's likely to be in their first year of office ...so that we all forgot about what they did, or got used to it by the time the election comes around again in 5 years time!

I haven't a clue how much cash the BT & BP pour into political party funds, but a threat to withdraw that funding coupled with the loss of tax revenue to the treasury must surely be influencing them more than the health of a nation.
Surely, the cash saved on treating smoking related diseases & ailments would offset the loss of tax? ...they're always telling us how much smoking costs our health services!

I even read of a doctor opening an e-cig shop next to his surgery to encourage his patients to stop smoking.

My favorite (favorite as in SMH funny) commercial, I forget the brand but, it touts itself as the most advanced e-cig on the market (LMAO) and at the end says 'our special liquid made by the scientists at RJ Reynolds.' Whhaaaaaat?! HahahahahahahHa. Seriously funny. I bet that joose is yummy! Makes me wanna throw a brick through my TV.

So, NT juices contain PG, VG, Nicotine and Flavoring. Say's so on the label.
Do we know if BT has reintroduced some of their 5400 other chemicals into their e cigarette products yet?

I'm happy to use Nicoticket as part of a harm reduction therapy...
Would I trust BT's product? Absolutely not.

OMG 48mg!!!!!!!!!!!!! That makes it even funnier. And cant you see those cronies sitting in a room patting themselves on the back for coming up with the idea of making a e-cig so horrible it'll make you want to smoke a cigarette! BRILLIANT!!!

They most likely would put in chemicals to hook us again so they can pick our pockets some more

It's all quite frustrating. My beloved wife mentioned to me today that she saw an article (I don't have a reference) that said e-cig use amongst kids was getting huge. It's obvious that the anti-vaping messaging is getting stronger out there. Mind you if e-cigs didn't exist and these same kids were smoking real cigarettes nobody would be saying anything about it. I have yet to see one credible study showing that e-cigs have actually increased the number of young people who are choosing to consume some form of nicotine product. Instead every one I have seen cites big numbers of young people who have tried e-cigs without any comparison to how many might otherwise be using a more deadly form of nicotine consumption. There is no shortage of corrupt dirtbags out there.

It sounds as thought the article your wife saw could have been this which I saw on CBS news: CDC reveals "alarming" news about teen e-cigarette use - CBS News

So a college student had stopped smoking cigarettes by using e-cigs ....what's the problem with that?
Yes, better that when she was 14, she hadn't smoked at all, but at least she's found an alternative.

Young people have always been curious about smoking, and some stay with it.
They say that increasing numbers who have never smoked are using e-cigs, and if that is true, then who's to know that they wouldn't have taken to cigarettes instead?

The CDC went on to say that e-cigs contain chemicals and that some flavouring - he mentions vanilla - is harmful when inhaled.
Terrible misinformation, totally uninformed.

Why do we never see someone publicly correct these statements?

Only yesterday, I read this:
Korean War on Vaping | Planet of the Vapes
Ah, why am I not surprised ...another government raking it in from manufacture, yet telling lies to it's population ...in order gain yet more profit!
This bit:
Ignoring all evidence being presented to them, the Korean government has vowed to get tough on shopping channels and fine vapers who use their devices outside of smoking areas. Unsurprisingly, vapers are accusing them of forcing them away from ecigs just to increase revenue from tobacco taxes rather than having than holding public health at the forefront.

I read a similar article recently too. It said cig smoking among high school students was down BUT ecig use was up. The 'but' implies that's still a bad thing smh. Obviously big tobacco is controlling the rhetoric on this topic.

Although the headline was sensationalized a bit I have to eat my words a little and give credit where credit is due. A recent article from the New York Times had this to say:

But the report also told another story. From 2011 to 2014, the share of high school students who smoked traditional cigarettes declined substantially, to 9 percent from 16 percent, and use of cigars and pipes ebbed too. The shift suggested that some teenage smokers may be using e-cigarettes to quit.

Smoking is still the single-biggest cause of preventable death in the United States, killing more than 480,000 Americans a year, and most scientists agree that e-cigarettes, which deliver the nicotine but not the dangerous tar and other chemicals, are likely to be far less harmful than traditional cigarettes.

I don't look to the media for endorsements of my preferences - I look for unbiased reporting, and while I wouldn't go as far as to say the piece is free of any bias it does at least provide some facts that counter the narrative we're hearing from most media outlets.

Note: Link not posted due to ECF rules that I follow, but whole heartedly disagree with.

Well, for the Times, at least that's a small step in the right direction. Reading their articles related to tobacco harm reduction over the last few years has been less than heart warming. They have had their share of hit pieces.

Thanks for sharing, though., that was unexpected; maybe we're getting some mind-share and a fair shake for a change vs. the standard, rabid ANTZ rhetoric.
