Trying A different way to clean the BVC

i would wonder if the baking soda could precipitate out and clog the micropores in the ceramic causing some loss of wicking.

The coil itself didn't get much cleaner still gunked up The wick itself gets pretty clean with hot water

I've dry burned these with some pretty good results. I'll rinse with hot water or everclear, allow to dry, then dry burn and rinse again with hot water, allowing to dry once again. The whole process takes about 2 days tho, so if you have one use a new coil

I've tried to clean by rinse with water, dry burn or rinse , toaster oven or alcohol first, rinse 2nd, air dry etc.

The best thing that has worked for me is rinse with warm distilled water, then soak it in quadruple distilled vodka for 2 hours and air dry it for 2 days. Don't dry burn , bc you will be lucky to ever get rid of the burnt taste. You could possibly dry it faster by using a toaster oven but i haven't had success to completely have it dry and have to air it out anyway. Just screw it back to the tank with eliquid filled. Take 10 puffs without pressing on the battery before using it.

I like to use vodka (not rinsing) before air drying, bc the materials drying from water in an enclosed setting doesn't sit right with me. Mold/germs can possibly develop or thrive imo , just think about washing clothes and leaving it in the washing machine and eventually waiting it to dry crunched up.

Now with alcohol, germs/mold cant thrive.

It has worked the best for me.
