Trying Again

Heya Vapers, I was vaping for awhile but had some stressful times and went back to analogs for awhile but want to come back to vaping. I have a eGo Riva and it's OK but want more vapor. I don't vape a lot so battery life isn't too important but taste and vapor is important. If I upgrade my battery will that give me more vapor? and flavor? I can spend maybe 20-40 bucks now. What do yall recommend?

Hi ya Joshua. A variable voltage battery might give you more vapor; however, I would suggest getting a vivi nova atomizer. They come in 2 sizes of 2.0ml and 3.5ml; and you can get them for between $11 and $16. They give great flavor and vapor, IMO; however, I am using the variable voltage twist battery on mine.

Hi Josh - sounds to me its more about what juice you use. The PG/VG ratio will give you the vapor. PG enhances the throat hit, VG gives most of the vapor. As for flavor - ditto - it's about the juice. You also might want to try a higher nic level - maybe 24 mg for good throat hit.
You might want to check out the ejuice section of the forum - lots of recommendations there.

Get the E-Go Twist battery for $24 but your issue is about the juice and whatever device you use to hold the liquid.
It's not about the battery.

Agree with what everyone else is saying..
VG = Vapor (Vapor coming from mouth as you exhale, slight "smoke" feeling)
PG = Flavor / Throat hit (Feeling of vapor in the back of your throat, more "smoke: feeling)
You can adjust the amount of vapor a little bit with voltages, but most of it is going to come

Agree with that setup. I've got a twist and use both sizes of nova tanks on it.

Everyone here has offered great advice. The eGo and Vivi tanks are well within the lower end of the budget with excellent performance.

Good luck. I tried vaping a couple years back and loved it, eventually quit altogether and lost/broke my equipment. Then later on I started up with analogs again. Just ordered a set from canvape and now looking forward to get back to vaping!

nothing wrong with a good little CE4 Clearomizer for $6.00 using with a KGO or E-Go batt.

What flavorings have you found that are vapor production killers? I haven't run into that yet and the highest VG formula I've used so far is 70/30 but I have some all VG juice on order.

Thanx guys, lots of good info. I'll try em out. I'm using some kind of atomizer that is like a spike. I forget what it's called but the spike pierces the cartridges when you push them in. I like that system because I can have multiple different flavored cartridges. Any drawbacks to this kind of system regarding taste and vapor?

Also, as far as 650mah vs 1000mah...I assume those numbers are only having to do with how long the battery lasts and not increased vapor production. Do I assume correctly?
