We have a saying on ECF. "It's not how many cigarettes you smoked today that's important. It's how many YOU DIDN'T SMOKE."Took me 5 months to give up my last cig. Many of us were dual users for awhile. Don't get discouraged if you smoke a few. Every cig you don't smoke is a win.
The way that worked for me was I gave myself a week to quit smoking. I had one last pack of smokes left. I vaped as much as I desired. I tried not to smoke, but if my craving got so bad I allowed myself to smoke half of a cigarette (and saved the rest for the next craving). I ended up smoking a total of 4 whole cigs a day.
Those half smoked butts tasted pretty bad, and probably contributed to me being able to quit by the end of the week. The longer I could stay away from a cigarette, the faster my normal taste buds began to heal and I learned how terrible tobacco really tastes. By the end of the week, I actually preferred the vape to the tobacco.
Don't put yourself in a position where you'll be tempted to buy more cigarettes. If you don't have charged batteries, a replacement coil for your tank, or e-liquid ... you can't vape. Keep spares just in case.
The original Crown tank is fantastic. It's what I use on a daily basis. I also use the 0.5 ohm coils at 30 - 40 watts. Coils last me about 4 weeks. Tip: Take a cotton tip applicator (Q-Tip) straight down the mouthpiece into the coil about once a week to collect the crud buildup.
