About a year ago I got my first eGo. A friend from work introduced me to vaping (the same friend that led me here) and at first I liked it, but it got a bit overwhelming. The language, all the gadgets, the terms, etc...well I got lost. I still used mine if I went to a bar, but I realized I wasn't using it to it's full potential. It is definitely more of a learning experience than I thought. Well, I'm willing to give this a try again. But I now know I have a LOT to learn! I'll be doing a lot of reading here. What would really be helpful is a book "vaping for Dummies". Is there such a thing? If not someone should write it! I'm looking forward to a new start and maybe making some new friends along the way. I think my next step is to get the eGo booster and in the mean time decide where I want to go from here.

Have you tried cartomizers?

Try Boge 510 cartomizers and I recommend standard resistance first (2.8-3.2 ohms) as you learn to fill them properly and keep them damp. Then if you want a hotter vape that will use your battery charge faster, try the Boge 510 LR 2.0 ohm ones. Boge cartomizers are the mos popular cartos on 510-threaded devices. I recommend thinner juices (20% or less VG) in these, and I lean toward juices that leave little or no clogging flavoring sediment (low sediment juices are usually lighter and clearer). And only put juices you know you like in cartos. It is hard to clean and dry cartos and have them work well again. They are meant to be disposable. I keep mine damp to avoid singeing and can get a week or more use out of each.

Cartomizers provide a more consistent vaping experience and need juice added less often vs atomizer + cart.

And on the horizon - CE3 cartos aka Smokymizers - new version clear cartos which promise to be rid of the cracking and other problems of the CE2 ones. These are reservoir cartos and need a blunt or flexible syringe to fill.

And "Ego" (probably clone) 3-stage aka variable batteries (GotVapes is awaiting more). With 5 presses you can go from normal Ego 3.2v to 3.7v to 4.2v
