I've searched around sooooo much, I found krimson customs but he closed up shop, and I've tried to msg shan of vapecore but got no response. Is there anyone else out there that does nice VV boxmods with display? I know kalamazoovaporshop and madvapes has VV boxmods with display, but they are kind of rough looking. Anyone know of any high quality boxmods? Plastic is fine if its good quality, aluminum even better. For the life of me I can't find any.

I really enjoy my madvapes vv box. Mine doesn't have the display. Ive seen reviews where the display shows the voltage and then when you put a load on it and vape, it does show the voltage under load. They're having a moving sale right now and with the code "madvapes " you'll get %10 off. That makes the mod approx $40! Ive had mine several months and I feel that I've def gotten my moneys worth! When it finally stops working I'll immediately buy another! (The one with the display Lol)

Mine may be plastic but it is nice and neat and small enough to carry around easily. It will also handle dc "s well.

Two words:

Maximum Vapors

They have both wood and plastic if I'm not mistaken, at really good prices. They have just been going through something of a grand reopening. If you hunt a bit for a coupon code, I bet you can get 25% off this weekend.

I should add that the display will probably be inside. Hope that isn't a dealbreaker.

I love my altoid box mod from smart vapes. Very well done, hits REALLY good - and if the cover starts to get wear - you can just buy altoids and replace the cover! (I changed mine to a different color, but now am back to red again). There is a display, you have to open the cover to see it tho, it's not on the outside. Only $59 but works AWESOMELY, and goes up to 6 volts!

Those Maximum Vapor ones look nice. And tbh I'd rather have the display. I like to know where I am, because I know approximately where I want to be. Then I do small adjustments from there. Just makes switching voltages faster.

I have to ask because in my experience people that say this have never just used a knob. So, have you ever just used a knob? I really could give a rip where the voltage is. I know about where I like it by knob position and work from there.

yeah id rather have display, i have two boxmods already that ive tried, one vv that crapped out on me , the adjustment was kind of annoying. Lookx like I will be venturing into DIY modding or add a display into one of the VV boxmods myself. Even a simple palstic boxmod with display would be nice, but it seems the ones who do them just cut out rough rectangles with an exacto knife and look so tacky. Even a plastic boxmod that is put together neatly would do:facepalm: but no one puts much finish into them

Vv woodvil sale is tonight at 7 pm edt. A sweet product, notcigs electronics in a reo wood bottom feeder. No display, but sure to be an awesome APV :)

Me, I have a notcigs VVPV, a top feeder, metal case. Very happy with it.

I was under the impression that they'll be making a Woodvil VV with a display. Maybe later? Or was that just wishful thinking on someone's part? I could swear I saw that on their site or somewhere reliable. I vaguely even remember seeing a pic of a pre-release, but I could be hallucinating.

I think you're hallucinating. :) I never saw that one. I don't want a display anyway. So, it's all good for me.

Yeah I had a infinity. I really didnt like it. I couldn't find my sweet spot very easily, either I turn it to far up, or too far down. Not saying it doesnt work for a lot of people, it just didn't for me.

Those look awesome. The guy Caged that makes them has to have mad skills to fit vv circuitry, 2 18650's AND a display inside an Altoid tin. Hard to beat the price also. I keep watching for them to come back in stock. Hope I'm not waiting forever.

^ If you keep missing it, write him an email and tell him how much you want one and how long you have been waiting ;)

Are they in and out? I think I've been checking mostly a couple times a week, and I set up an acct so I could set up an email alert if they come in, but I suppose it's possibleI've missed them. I've even emailed and asked when some would be back in [no reply].

I'd gladly pay in advance for one if I could get it in a month or so. I REALLY want one badly, and listening to you mentioning how you can change out covers isn't helping. :(
