I got my AGA-T2 over the weekend and slapped it on my Sigelei #20. Initially I set it up with silica and a 1 ohm coil. Flavor was alright on my Bomb Vapor cherry w/ flavor shot. Probably on par with my Volt cartos. I refilled after going through the first tank with Volt desert Joe and got nothing but bad burnt hits. I could see I was choking my wick pretty hard and couldn't get it fixed so I scrapped it, drained the tank and setup a mesh wick, again about 1 ohm with 30 g kanthal.
It was just okay, I was getting lots of vapor but only a bit of flavor. I messed with it for a bit (vaped about a half tank) and decided to switch back to Cherry. Drained, dry burned to check my coils which looked good, and refilled with cherry. Flavor was just never really there again.
Tonight I re wicked with silica as the cheap mesh that came with the AGA-T2 was rusting a bit. Tried a 1.5 ohm coil for fun and I'm getting a good amount of vapor and even some warm vape but the flavor is coming and going. I'll occasionally get a really good blast of Cherry flavor and then nothing. If I go to my volt cartos with the same juice I'm getting good flavor.
Any tips? Draw faster/slower? Let the coils warm up a bit before my first puff? Shut up and get some real SS and try that?
Fresh battery also didn't have much of an effect either.
