Ryedan, the excel file may not be accurate for OP as he's doing the wraps for a mini protank. May have to add maybe 0.4 ohms to the final resistance as the legs would be longer. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Good point danny, but it's just a guide, a list of people's coil examples. I actually make some of my legs in RDAs quite long to get the coil where I want it. It's not meant to replace a DMM, rather to estimate the best wire gauge to buy to get you in the ballpark for the coils you want to build.

Type in your gauge wire and the desired ohm and it will tell you the length that you should have
