I got curious and tried this menthol x sample they sent this morning. I never liked menthol cigarettes very much, but damn this stuff is good.

Sorry to say this but I must.
The only way any personal vaporizer will work for you to quit cigarettes is IF "You" are ready to give them up.
This is simply not the least little bit true for many people. There is no shortage of accidental quitters on ECF. I count myself as one of them.
I had no intention of quitting cigarettes but never had another after my first vape. I preferred the taste of vaping far more than smoking and never had any cravings despite having smoked 2 1/2 packs a day. However, some people who smoked much less than me have had to struggle mightily for months to switch from smoking to vaping even though they desperately want to do so.
My heart goes out to those who have such a tough go of making a full transition to vaping. I hope we can all see our way clear to support their efforts rather than scolding them for what well may be a totally erroneous perception that they lack motivation
Well so far so good. Loving the taste of my ecig and the cigalike is working great for taking to work with me.
Haven't has a cigarette or even wanted one since the day I fired this thing up.

So it is your Opinion that someone that smokes and has no desire, not one thought, of quitting cigarettes just on a whim tried an e-Cig and never smoked again. I don't think so.
Why would they even try a vaporizer? For what purpose?
So for yourself why did you even try vaping? For what purpose did you take that first vape?
So please be honest with us and most importantly with yourself.

This will be my second time trying to quit smoking cigarettes by going the electronic route. My first attempt started well and I was enjoying electronic cigarettes until my blu starter pack basically stopped working after 3 weeks of use. Out of frustration and disappointment, feeling like I got suckered into spending money on a "fad" I figured e-cigs weren't my thing went back to regular cigarettes.
Haven't read the whole thread, but first congratulations and about spending money etc: It's worth every misspend penny to save your healthAlso It's almost always cheaper! If you smoke a pack a day, you spend something like at least $120 a month! More than enough money to buy shiny new toys instead of ashtrays full of dirt.
I'd recommend buying the best tank instead of a starter kit. Either 2 Aspire Nautilus tanks or 2 Aerotank Mega's from Kanger, plus a nice regulated battery. A box mod like the MVP2 from Innokit is a great starter kit, box mods might look weird in the beginning but they are actually FAR SMALLER and more practical than they look on pictures. The best thing is that they won't roll around or topple over on your desk.
I'd recommend fruity flavors like apple, vanilla, hazelnut or RY4 (a tasty "tobacco" style flavor). Some tobacco flavors are really weird, and non really taste like cigarette. But you'll have to find out what flavors your like yourself.

I'm pretty sure I've read a few stories like that here on ecf;
people try out a cigalike or their buddies dripper and end up switching from cigs to vape.
There's always the cost incentive
