Tube mod help

I'm looking to build my first tube mod and will be from scratch rather than a flashlight or something pre-made. I'll admit I'm a total n00b at the wiring aspect but have a vision of the finished product. Can anyone point me to either a step by step with pics of a good tube mod or a video that will help me with the wiring aspect? I'm really wanting to make this a 5v regulated mod but am just clueless. From what little I could find it doesn't look difficult but nothing is really detailed to the level of 'solder this connection here' type instruction.

I really like breaktru's various copper mods. Seems very utilitarian and pretty easy to make, looks good too.

For less than $20 in parts you can build both a 2AA box mod and a flashlight mod FIRST. Then you won't be so clueless and you can move on to your dream mod.

Breaktru has some excellent examples of DIY Copper Mods, you should go take a look at his forum for really good descriptions and pictures of how to do it. Thats how I made mine.
