I had a GGTS, sold it for $58.00 and bought a Provari.

Haven't looked back.
11 months of daily usage and the Provari looks and feels brand new.

Two maxi rough stacks - a regular rough stack - a copper - a BB - a triple-v - various flashlights - goldrush - blue lightening - chuck - thermo - sparkplug and maybe a couple of others. In the very near future, the tube mods will almost all be gone. I'm keeping my maxi rough stacks and my triple-v and adding a megalodon. The rest are going in a trade.

The don is the only tube mod I've wanted to add to my collection but never have. I like that it can be used in full mode with 18650 3.7v batts, 4.8v ni-mh batts, stacked 16340s, or stacked 18350s. or, it can be used in mini mode with a single 16340 or 18350. The end cap design is tank friendly, ego-specific attys and cartos friendly, or anything else 510 friendly. It's 100% mechanical and it looks really nice. I've been meaning to buy one for a while, and it's next on my list (depending on the release date of the VV REO - if the VV REO appears when I'm ready to buy another new mod, then it will be first).

If you want a simple, user friendly rebuildable I recommend the House of Hybrids. Zen~ has a few mod-dedicated attys including one for the Provari that is made specifically to fit that device and look great. Currently a waiting list, but by the time you find your black Provari, he may be in full production! I have a Zenesis standard on the way and I also have a copper Q2v3 - both mechanical 18650s. Don't have an Iatty - have heard mixed things - some love 'em, some don't . . . .

+1 on the "Don" =2 Dons in one... Kind of want to sell mine (aluminum) and get the stainless version but definitely have my eye on the Kick... Others I have Pure smoker Icon and LavaTube

There is a lot on here about the rebuildables, search for Genesis and you'll come up with Raidy's Thread and many others on them. Zen's House of Hybrids as well, or if your one for building your own try this post CVS Pill (Fob) Caddy Genesis style atty, it's a good tutorial on putting one of your own together. It's what got me to build my first one.

And back to the original question, I have and Ego as a back-up but the rest of my mods are home built. There is a Brass Pipe Mechanical I use as my everyday PV, a handful of VV Box Mods using the different chip sets (MV Standard VV Box, Evercool, and OKR-T), and a few AAA flashlights mods running NiMH batts.

Buzz Pro and 2- Bolts for me, hoping to throw a "kick" in one of them when they come back in stock. also, I dig the Buzz but I wish they made a 18650 model. Then I'd own 5. I don't like the 2 battery situation. Provari is on the wish list.

I will never buy a Puresmoker product, I had a Prodigy 1 and than a Prodigy 2 neither lasted more than 2-3 months.
I had a GG and it was a great unit but only lasted a year than stopped functioning well. Also the button kept popping out on me.
I've had a Provari now for over a year and it's still working great.
But it is expensive. Sigh....

I own 7 or so mods, Buzz Pro wins hands down for vapor and flavor with a SS tank, but I do appreciate them all.

Lavatube and Maxi RS. But seriously, why wonder what everyone else is using? It shouldn't matter- get what YOU want. I'll be gahdammed before I spend >$80 on a mod. For me, this isn't some symbol I'm showing off like we're comparing ourselves in the shower... it's a device that has helpped me quit smoking (for a little over 9 months now). That's all it is to me.

Maybe I'm a downer in that area- and I really don't care if I'm perceived that way- but I could give two .....$ what everyone else is using.
