Do you prefer a tube or box style?
How about some examples of pros and cons of the 2 based on personal experience.

Looking to get mvp2 but skeptical about it being a box. From what I gathered, its everything i have been wanting plus an outstanding battery life, whereas most tube style mods ive looked at, have surprisingly short batt life considering the price.

Personal preference is on the tube side, mostly cus i like my pocket space and I can use a lanyard. (idk if a box can) , and the fact I have never tried a box style mod.

If I can get a tube for about the same price and quality/battery , then I'd go for it I think.

MVP2 - pro's
1 - vv/vw and can check resistance of coils
2 - can charge phone in emergency (if the correct usb cable is present when needed)
3 - not as noticeable in public

con's
1- battery is not replaceable once it starts going bad - when battery is dead you will need to replace entire unit
2- once battery charge is down you will need to plug device in to charge and use as a pass through
3- some issues with some clearos and tanks not making good contact with contacts

Tube mod
Pro's
1 - able to get vv/vw with ability to check resistance of coils
2 - batteries are replaceable in seconds - device itself will last possibly last forever ie: provari
3 - ability to choose different battery configurations to easily change size of device ie: sigelie zmax (telescopic 18350, 18500, or 18650), vamo and provari - removable extension tube - 18350 or 18650

con's
1 - more noticeable
2- um, uh, I'm sure other people will know of some more cons

I have both and personally prefer the tube mods myself

you will probably end up with both also (backups, backups, backups - I recently had a 510 threading issue on my original vamo and can only use ego threaded devices on it now)

it will end up being a personal preference decision

I use both and like both.

I use two Provari's (standard and mini) and a first gen MVP. Both provide me with the best vape between 6 other mods I own, and both are very pocket-friendly (front jeans pocket). The Provari's are the size of a thicker magic marker and the MVP the size of a pack of analogs.

Complete personal preference. Pro's/Con's would mostly come down to which devices your looking at. I like the box and size of the MVP for travel purposes. The tube style is my prefernce as a daily device (only con to this is it doesn't sit well in pockets). Make some vaping friends at a local shop and see if you could borrow one or the other for a day. I've done that for some of my friends.
