My wife is looking to move up from a Spinner type battery to something better, but she dumped a lot of constraints on me, so I need some help.

1. Must be VV (VW optional but not required)
2. MUST be tubular, absolutely NO boxes or strange shapes.
3. She wants to stay as close to the same size as her 1300Mah Spinner thus the 16xxx series or smaller requirement.
4. Must be able to use Smoktech ARO's for the topper on it (eGo threading).

I have done some searching and found a few 14500 mods that fit the bill such as the L-Rider Robust but I have not been able to find anything that is not either a box or a mech that uses the 16 series batteries.

So does anyone know of any PV's that fit this bill?

You might want to consider a 14500 mod over a 16340 even if you can find one. A 14500 of the same type being slightly longer and thinner than a 16340 will give you slightly longer battery life.

I was actually kind of hoping for something in the 16500 range, but yeah if I can't find anything in this range, I may have to go with the L-Rider Robust 14500.

As was mentioned not consider the Innokin iTaste VV 3.0. It is basically a long and narrow version of the MVP with pretty much the same features.

Variable Voltage: 3.3 – 5.0 volts in .1 volt increments.
Variable Wattage: 6.0 – 11.0 W in .5 watts increments.
Ohms meter
Puff Counter
Pass-thru ability (great for charging while using in the car)
510 and eGo threading

It is square in shape but not a box. Built in 800mAh battery that charges via USB. You could buy her two for the price of the L-Rider Robust, batteries and a charger.

The VV3 is not tubular, but not box either. It's square. that is like a tube mod, but not round.....A lot of people prefer it because it won't roll off the table. I think she would be really happy with a vv3. It's the device that opened me up to the world of Mod's and it's a great inexpensive entry level mod.

The old E-Power 14650 has been around for a long time. Back in the day I used it with protected ICR batts that were 1050mAh. The IMR 14650s are 950mAh.

Crystal Clear Vaping has an E-Power 14650 w/eGo threading and Tropical Vapors still sell the original 510 only E-Power 14650. IIRC the outside tube diameter is 17mm. The caveat is that these are old-time semi-regulated mods and have relatively low output power and limited voltage regulation.
