Tugboat v2, help?

I currently use sigeli 150 with freemax sub ohm tank
.25Ω coil. Says u can vape up to 100w. Tip gets very hot so I usually vape around 70w Max vg juice, doesn't get hot.

****I want to get into building my own. So I was about to order a tugboat v2 with a slam cap. I want more vapor and be able to turn my box up past 100 watts being that my mod goes to 150w.

What type of gauge wire should I buy to do this?

Being this is going to be my first time tempting to build. Does any one know where I can buy on ONE SITE tugboatv2, slam cap, wire, ohm reader, cotton and a kit to build.

And Am I missing anything? Want to buy everything I need and receive in one shot so I can get started with my first build or am i tripping for even thinking that far ahead.

as for your question... clones or authentics? clones, fasttech, can get almost all that. I dont know what a slam cap is though.
Just cuz your mod goes up to 150 doesnt mean you should. Its like buying a fast car. You wont drive it at 250KPH, but knowing it can go that high is cool.
i only vape at like 60-75 watts on my 150 device, Although I find my clouds are bigger if I LOWER the wattage, not up it.

Same will be for you. Its a trade off. 150 watts is hot, you are only getting like, a 1-2 second pull off that if you dont wanna dry out your wick, burn your lips and mouth from all the heat, and have the wick catch on fire.

lower it down to 40, Nice and cool, big long deep pull. nice and cool. Huge clouds.
up your ohms too. Regulated is different than Mech. up your ohm level as well, that way you get more volts being pushed through the coils at the lower wattage. thats where the vapor is man.
Oh and max VG juice.
not all about power. It is about learning to harness that power, young grasshopper! Remember, with great power, comes great responsibility

Wow, very interesting read for me. Thxs, for advise. Let me do a lot more google searches. Less power is more. Is How You do it. Had to laugh about the car thing. I don't drive over posted speed limit. But cool to have the speed. Great reference why I shouldn't try to max speed my mod. I'll be back still learning.

I'm going to check out fasttect been seeing a lot of people talking about it on here.

I was thinking about this post earlier today. 100+ watts is better for if you wanna run a quad coil (Or more) set up. Or you wanna run claptons, big diameter coils (mind you i dont even need 100+ for them.)
I am dual coil... I run them on the same side of an RDA. I usually run at 60W, But I vape for flavor. Turned down to 40W earlier today... and got a bigger cloud from the 40 then I did from the 60
Although i dont really care about the clouds. For me its all about the taste

Hmm, I would say that you should use lower gauges, and what wire are you using?

VaporDNA has the authentic Tugboat V2 + slam caps. Try 24 gauge kanthal. 22g and lower gets veeerry hot very quickly.

Lost my sig150 last night, went to local vape shop. They didn't carry sigs so I picked up ipv4. It was between that or a smy and something else. So I took the 100w based On what you said about watts. One of them mods had some crazy watts to i forgot what it was though. Back to drawing board. This thing got a bunch of little features jublie, temp control, plug for update. Didn't come with charger plug but I have my nitecore charger. Have no clue what them features are but I'm vaping on it and it's working.

You probably mean the SMY God Mod, which goes up to 260W. Pretty silly device, imo.

Don't jump into the pool before you know how to swim. In other words, do a lot more research before you start rebuilding at sub-ohms or use higher wattage.

I'd start with like 28 guage and .5 ohms to get used to building and to help learn to build safely. Eventually 24 guage and .25 ohms will give you all the clouds you need. No need to go to any extremes.
