Hello all. First post, relative newbie vaper here. I've been vaping an eGo-T from Volcano (their Inferno(T) kit). Recently saw the Turbine at GotVapes, and thought it looked awesome. Ordered two. Got 'em Monday and haven't been able to get either of them working. Tried everything I can think of.

I'm reasonably sure the atomizer is firing; I can hear it crackle and the barrel gets hot. Still, I get no vapor. I'm pretty sure everything's lined up correctly too. Anyone got any ideas, or did I waste $25? I haven't been able to get anyone at GotVapes to respond to my email, so I thought I'd post the question here.

TIA for any help.

Tried letting it sit and priming it. Both of them. Nothin'. It's too bad because it looks like such a killer idea. I've been completely ignored by the guys at GotVapes, which is irritating. If you can't afford to stand behind your product, look at your business model or get out of the business. Of course, that's just my take. Lots of people are very successful with ... other ... strategies. Anyway, don't want to turn this into a ***** and moan session about one of the vendors. I ordered some of the Vortexes (Vertices? Heh.) before I got the Turbines. They should be here tomorrow. I hope I'll have better luck with those.

I did get mine to work for a couple of days. I liked the looks of it and especially the tip but it just didn't work as good as it looked. You might trying to re-seat the tank but i imagine you have tried that. I wanted something I liked to use on my ego batteries but that was the third tank and all of them tanked! I will just have to trade my eGos and will just use my Go-Gos that are very reliable and consistent.

I'm running 100% VG EcoPure and it leaks slightly no matter what I do. But I did just fill this for the first time at around 6 last night. I think you'll actually get the advertised flavor out of whatever juice you put through this. Each and every draw is the way it should be so I'm not sure thickness is an issue.

The slight leaking is a bit disconcerting though I am used to it coming from the CE2 type cartomizers.

On the rare instances where I've actually gotten a hit, the flavor has been pretty good. Clearer and stronger than the eGo tanks I've been using. And I really like the tip.

Despite the often ham fisted approach to culling posts in the GV supplier forum, which i dislike greatly, you might be able to gain some insight there. Is the draw difficult or tight? I wonder if you have a bum atomizer. If you don't let them know right away you can't get it replaced I believe.

I don't have enough posts yet to go to the GV forum. The draw is actually really light. I've emailed Chris and Dan at GotVapes and got no response. Don't think I'm going to be able to get an RMA. I'll keep tinkering with them for the time being, but I suspect they'll go to the box that houses the No 7 kit I bought when I first started vaping. Oh well, they can't all be the best thing since sliced bread.

By light you mean it's loose and airy like you're drawing air through a fire hose, not a straw right? I'm beginning to think you might have a flaky atomizer or a bad connection where it connects to the battery itself.

This is an quickly changing technology so I accept a certain amount of risk. I can't abide not contacting the customer though.

I agree with you about taking some risk. Poor customer service, though, in not replying to email.

Yes, the draw is pretty loose. Very little resistance. I'm pretty sure the atty is firing, though. I can hear it crackle and the barrel gets warm. I'm thinking it's a wicking problem, but I'm at a loss as to what to do to find out.

Is any liquid making it out of the barrel into the outer plastic area like it does for me? At least that tells me it's passing through the atty.

Not an expert, but I also had problems with the turbine. My atomizer stopped working after a day. I did notice, when I was cleaning the atomizer, water would drip from the mouthpiece area to the battery area through the wick. You could try filling the mouthpiece area with some water and see if it drips through.

Not to defend their customer service, but I think they are overwhelmed with complaints about this product and the vortex. I know it took them a while to reply back to me and I was one of the first to get the turbine. They ship from NY and I usually get an order the next day.
