I came across this video I wanted to share.

I have a few CE2's that have broken off wicks but the coils are still going strong. I thought I'd never use them again but I threw them in a box anyway. This trick will make your broken wick CE2's useful again !

Or if your a dripper you could just cut the wicks off like this guy does from the get go.

Why cut the wick? Wouldn't this work just as well with the wick still in there?

If it's going to be used strictly for dripping or as a feeder of sorts as the video suggest, no reason to have the wicks the full length, just long enough to extend outside of the ceramic cup is enough to draw the liquid through the atty coil after it's been tilted. Less length wick would also allow for more juice in the tube and easier flow when tilted.

I just thought it was neat cus I could make my old CE2's useful again. If it's a new CE2 I would not cut the wick myself. I find the CE2's wicks break off after using for about a month. Usually one side breaks off then I stop using it. This trick will save my .... if I run out and am waiting on replacements, even if the other side of the wick breaks.

I find most of the time the coils don't fry on their own with normal use, only if you dry burn them too long.
