The Tornado and Titan kits I picked up all came with generic Joye tobacco Marlboro/USA mix. It's got a slightly nuttier aftertaste to me than my regular Camel Dekang. Its not exactly good to me but its not bad.

Yup... must be it and the strange part is I love it, but it does not taste like tobacco to me - probably why. I was a 25 yr menthol smoker, but since I started vaping I seem to like the coffee and fruit flavors most of all.
