I ordered one of these and will post a review when it arrives. Not trying to start a Big debate over which is better, auto vs. manual.

Just a FYI.

Eagerly awaiting your review :) In the mean time do you happen to know exactly what type of switch this uses? Sound activated or pressure activated?
Thanks!

No clue what type of switch is used. These big autos have just come out. Janty/Joye is supposed to have one soon. But soon to them is sometimes not soon to me. I'll be sure to post a review on the battery.

I also got a Mega Cartomizer to see how it ticks. Looks like it is going to be hard to refill but we will see.

Auto batteries are a great idea if there's no cut-off and they are sealed for dripping. Are these like that?

Not sure what the cut-off time is or isn't. I have a Janty eGo auto and I don't think it ever cuts off. Hope the 1000mAh is the same way.

As for sealed. I don't think Any auto batteries are sealed. But that doesn't effect me. I don't drip so it doesn't matter.

I would highly suggest an eGo to anyone. The battery life with the standard battery will last me allmost all day. With the bigger battery it should be perfect.

That and they just look and feel Cool. Some big batter units look like garage door openers or hand tools. The eGo has alot of style.

And since it takes all things 510, you have lots of possiblities. Cart - Carto- Drip.

They have the Tornado 1000mAh battery - Janty / Joye 900mAh, in Manual for you drippers out there also.

Iam not a big supporter for auto batteries, but would also like to hear what you say about these....."Enjoy the Adventure"

Seems like the views on autos vs. manuals is very polorized. I personaly don't see much difference in the two so I like the auto's for their easy of use and more realistic smoking feel.

I will diffinately write a review on the good, and the bad of what I find.

Also doesn't come with much of a warranty.

Cheers,
otrpu

Nothing from TW comes with much of a warranty. I have found that if an electronic device can go the first 30 days without a problem, then it's usualy it is good to go.

I will be using this battery in a 3 battery rotation so I'm hoping that I can get at least 6 or 8 months out of it.

Just an Update:

The battery arrived and it is on the charger. It is a Monster.

I also got a MEGA Cartomizer with my order. Wow, Thing is too cool. Never had a whistle tip before and I like it.

I put 3 drops of tastyfinger e-Juice down the battery hole just to make sure the carto wasn't dry. Very good hits.

Will post more when battery is charged and I attempt my first refill of the MEGA Cartomizer.

Well it's been a few days and here is what I have found.

The 1000mAh Batter is Great. I meassured the the voltage 3 times after a full charge and each time it meassured 3.8v

The vape time is fantastic. I can go from Sun up to Sun down on a Single Battery.

My gosh things have come a long way from my 98mAh Blu starter Kit.

Can I use my eGo charger for this Tornado? (I have a Joye eGo)

Yes you can. It will take about 35% longer to charge the battery because the battery is 35% bigger.

BTW - Janty / Joye make a 900mAh battery. I believe they call it an eGo XL. I got this one from TW because it is Automatic and Janty / Joye arn't suppose to have an auto version for awhile.
