How is your Vamo? The price has enticed me many times. But, there's just something about it. I'm not sure what. How do you like yours?

Sorry, I forgot to answer this. Well, here's thing. If you already own a pile of good 18650 VV mods (like a Provari, Zmax, Evic), then you're not going to gain anything by getting a Vamo. It is a very "does what it says on the tin" cheap good mod. Nothing fancy. However, if you don't have anything that does variable wattage, or you just want to get it specifically as a back-up, then you'll love it. I've had zero issues with it... I just slug a battery in, usually leave the watts at 8.5 or something, put a carto on without a tank or anything, and I'm happy. For $30 it wins.

Thanks DancingHeretik. Look what I found! Joyetech Ego-C Twist 650mah Battery So it says it's genuine Joyetech, and manufactured by Joyetech, in several spots on the page. And they're in stock. Since you've shopped from there before, this is the real deal, right? If so, I could just piece together a kit myself... the battery is $5 less than competitors, and the chargers are all 50% less (though, I'm sure those are not Joyetech).

Also, I know exactly what you mean about cheap tools. I get those $4 cheap eyeglass repair kits at CVS or Walgreen's or whatever, and using them to tighten the screws on glasses will literally BEND the screwdriver head itself, to the point where you have to throw it out. haha

EDIT: NEVERMIND. The black batteries are out of stock. Son of a b*tch. ha :p

Yes, I'm sure they are the genuine article. Sorry about them being out of black. In my experience, it's very rare for Vapors Choice to have the genuine article in stock. So, if you don't mind the other colors and really want a Twist at a good price, you might want to snatch it while you can. I haven't looked at Vapors Choice in a while. But, when I was still looking, I could NEVER catch the Joyetech brand in stock.

While waffling about it, I happened to catch the SID on sale. So, that's going to be my first experience with VW. But, I'm glad to here that the Vamo is a good back-up.
