Twist per inch on a twisted wire coil

Does it make a difference in repeatability in building coils? I usually build single strand single coils, and have just started to experiment with two wire twisted.
I have started to experiment with these in order to find a single coil that will perform well in a 22mm rda. I do not sub ohm, and my regular builds are around 1.3 - 1.4Ω's.

Yes. The tighter the twist rate, the more wire is used for a given length... and the net resistance per strand pair (or more) increases.
