Twist per inch on a twisted wire coil

Does it make a difference in repeatability in building coils? I usually build single strand single coils, and have just started to experiment with two wire twisted.
I have started to experiment with these in order to find a single coil that will perform well in a 22mm rda. I do not sub ohm, and my regular builds are around 1.3 - 1.4Ω's.

Does it make a difference in repeatability in building coils?

Yes. The tighter the twist rate, the more wire is used for a given length... and the net resistance per strand pair (or more) increases.

I like 32 or 31 for builds at 15 watts or less. Currently running 31awg twisted @ 1.5mm pitch and 1.33 ohms, in my Hobo 3 on my Smokeless Owl with the KICK set to approx 13-14watts. And the same twisted wire coil in my Kayfun on my Kicked mech.
