Okay so I just did my first 28g twisted dual coil build and I've heard all this hype about the flavor and stuff I did 4 wraps around a 2.4 mm screw driver and I'm vaping at 40watts but it doesn't seem like anything special am I doing something wrong?

Don't know what about the experience is lacking. Not being SPECIAL, doesn't say anything about how it vapes. Did it vape too hot or too cold for you. based on your post I recommend adding air to the tires.
And what's the final resistance? What atty are your running it in? What's the PG/VG ratio on your juice? A little more info would be helpful if you're really wanting help.
All I know about you vape is it a doge atty, AF set to 50%, using 80/20, with 28 awg twisted (how many wires?) around a 2.4mm form at 40watts. Well 2 wires twisted and wrap 4 times will net around .25ohms on a single coil and heat flux of 800 or more at 40 watts.. Thats about 4x hotter than most vape at. Try the coil at about 15-20watts see how it tastes. Maybe add a wrap or 3.
