I use twisted coils because it makes my 28ga stainless steel (430) wire less springy. I also have a coiling gizmo and fold the wire through a cotter pin in my cordless drill. I space my coil, so a parallel contact coil is not an option. Good luck and stick with it!
MANNN, fitting this thing in my mutation v4 is nearly impossible and so is trying to pinch the coil with the tweezers I have as the coil is too long for my tweezers to fit around to each side to get all the hot spots out -.-

Working with 32 is a bit rough for beginners I would suggest getting some 30 if you want to go small
30g would still be pretty nice for parallel builds though right? I'm gonna do 11 wraps this time, hopefully it'll fit in there better if not I'm just gonna say screw it and go back to the simple stuff until I get the right type of wire to actually do these things. What RDA are you using man, the deck and posts look nice.
These are just going to have to work, a little bit imperfections and not close to as sexy as yours but ima throw some cotton in here and still see how it vapes.. defiantly think 10+ wraps is too big for my RDA

If you have a Michels craft store nearby check out the Coil Gizmo, its like 9$. By the way, with your logic of a 0.8 ohm at 50 watts being better then that .35 at 50 watts, would the same still be if I was wrapping a normal coil on a 3/32nd? Would a 8 wrapped .5ohm coil be better then a 0.35 ohm 6 wrapped?
Yeah I most defiantly will check it out and pick one up, the coils you make on it look incredible and it looks super easy.
The logic is simple. Cover as much wick as you can (staying inside the width of the air port pointing at the coil). While at the same time keeping the mass as low as possible.
