Hey guys I haven't tried either yet but what would you say are the pro's and cons to both coil types.
Thinking of wrapping a parallel coil (I found .8 is my sweet spot) but have only got a little kanthal left and wanted to get some opinions, are they worth it!
Thanks in advance.

I just moved to parallel from twisted so here's what I think, I was building on a tobh now I got the mutation X, and I've seen parallel builds being done for awhile and tried it out a couple builds ago and the first obvious thing I observed was the ohm's dropped .1-.2ohms with a single coil and .3-.4ohms with dual, it was 28g spaced parallel(the wires were touching but between each wrap they were spaced if that makes sense) 4 wraps if you count the outside, I was reading .17ohms w/ dual setup and .35ohms with a single setup, which I'd been wanting to drop down past the .4ohm mark for awhile but I didn't have an extra atty to test with and still have an atty to vape w/ while I was trying new builds, and by the way I'm using ONLY 18650 Sony VTC5 30amp battery's, They handle these builds amazingly, a lot better then what I thought. But anyway the coils are gonna obviously flash quicker, w/ more heat which produces more vape as long as you got air flow and placement of the coils set up good, I only flash mine for 2 secs about 3-5 times a hit(a little longer as the battery starts to drain) and I get nice thick clouds...if im driving i cant blow it out infront of me cause I won't be able to see out the windshield, but the other part I was surprised about is how much more flavor I was getting, I vape Space Jam Pluto all day everyday and i fell inlove w/ all over again once I started these builds and another liquid called Time Bomb: Fuse had ridiculously better flavor on the same build, so that's a pro for me....could be a con for others, now the only down sides i've seen for parallel is the time it takes to build...wrapping the coils w/ good tension keeping them tight...and making sure when you screw down on em you don't have your wires crossed...the first build I did took a good while to get screwed down right but it's became a little less time consuming since I've done a couple now, as far as twisted set ups I was twisting 28g and doing a dual coil w/ 4-5 wraps which was always in the ball park of .45-.55ohms....that became my consistent set-up for months, somebody else could prolly give a better technical pros and cons but for me twisted started cause I only had 30g & 32g wire and wanted lower ohms, but I didn't wanna waste the whole spool of wire i had so I just started twisting, I wanted lower ohms and bigger clouds, Started with 4-6 wrapped spaced coils and as time went on went to 4-6 wrapped touching coils, idk if it's twisted in general or just twisted touching coils but they "Gunk" up more and get that layer of what I'm guessing is cooked vape...but they were easy to build then single strand IMO...the wire was stronger making it easier to make adjustments to once screwed down without having to be extra gentle, they can make more popping and juice spitting, But the first parallel i did was with twisted wire and it was nice, but to eliminate the boiling and popping I had to switch to single strand, and for me I'd choose parallel over twisted in the .1-.4ohm builds, but over .4ohm i'd prolly stick with the twisted. here's some pictures of a couple set-ups

This is 28g twisted .5ohms

This is my first parallel done with some twisted 28g I had laying around left over - it popped way to much so I went to single strand and it's much better

I did this single coil set up and after a day or two I added a second coil to it and it came to .17ohms, and it just became my new star player
