Hello to everyone, i've been vaping for one year(only starter kits) im just a beginner in advanced vaping. Do you think i can build dual coils on two poles atty. also one reason im afraid to try it,is because im scared that my sigelei zmax might not be able to handle the ohms of it. Can you also recommend me what kind of batteries should i buy? Thank you guys in advance and happy vaping !!!

Can you build duals on a 2 post....In general, yes. For a specific yes or no, what atty do you have or are you looking at? as the zmax.... I've never used one, so I'll leave that to someone else for a definitive answer.

Could probably help if you know the limits on that zmax though.... min ohm, max watts...

You can do duals on a two post atty, I do it on my Magma all of the time. Although, I find singles preferable.

There will be a minimum ohm rating for the zmax and a quick google search will bring that up.

I strongly encourage you to do some research before continuing on down this road.

Research how wire gauge, mandrel, number of wraps, and multiple coils in series or parallel change the resistance of your build. Research Ohm's law and how it relates to current discharge from a battery. Research batteries, high drain, and safe chemistry IMR's as well (a great resource is Baditude's blog on this forum! Just search his name).

Vape happy, be safe.

Honestly, I would strongly suggest that you start your coil building with a single 1.5 ohm coil assembly, first.

Enjoy that, as you better your coil building skills and read up and learn more.

On your device, a single coil will afford you a very good vaping experience. Rush the process too quickly and you'll potentially be vaping without teeth, in a manner of speaking.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

Can you also recommend me what kind of batteries should i buy?

I'll also echo the recommendation to stay with a single coil, especially if using a regulated mod like the ZMax. You'll be limited to using a resistance of 1.3 ohms or higher with most regulated mods because of regulated mod amp limits and protective circuitry kicking in with lower ohms. I get an excellent vape at 1.5 ohms with my rebuildable tank atomizer on my Provari.

Information Resources for Your First RBA

Explain it to the Dumb Noob: Ohm's Law calculators

For your application, I recommend an AW 18650 IMR 2000mah 10 amp battery.
