Two Things

1. I got some juice from FreedomSmoke today. The 30 ml bottle has a date but the smaller ones don't. Does anyone know if they make to order or if I need to let things steep for a bit? Some of them taste a bit funky.

2. I convinced my son and his wife to get some Riva eCigs. They both smoke and have been wanting to quit, so when they were out here the other day, I got them to order some. I'm hoping they will stick with it.

Seriously though, when you say taste, do you mean actually taste with your tongue or do you mean vape taste? Also if you could describe your version of "Funky" then we may have an answer.
I've ordered from FS before as they are local Arizona and their juices were fresh but the ones I tried out of the box were pretty good with decent flavor. For me, my definition is if somethings funky, it ain't gonna get any better the longer you keep it. So we talking funky tasteless, funky stinky, funky blah or just plain funky funky?

Being new to the vaping scene I had the same experience with the juices I ordered from Freedomesmoke, I didnt know if it was me or if it was the juices, I let them sit for a week or so and they are wonderful now!!! So IMO let them steep for a bit and try them again!!

The taste of the vape is funky on my tongue. One is blueberry pancake, which doesn't taste like either thing, and the other is bergamot, which I may just not like.

I think they were made on or after the date you ordered them, each of my label on 10ml appear to include some of the changes I made to the juice - plus flavor, nic level and med added. The label doesn't have room for a date.

Let em steep a bit. I hear that capping them and running them under hot tap water, or sitting in a cup of hot tap water (not boiling...can melt the little plastic bottles) will hasten the process. Just put it in the cup and let it cool down to near room temp.

If you are talking about freedomsmokeusa.com all the juices are made to order...and may require steeping time... and any ejuice will always vape better than when tasting it with your tongue.
I hope your son and his wife stick with it also. Did you give them this site, so they can ask questions?

i gave a kit to eGo to my daughter and son, they liked it and i also set them up with some flavored juice. they were on their way, so i thought, i met up with my daughter the other day, she was smoking analogs, so i asked about the ecig, she said she uses it at work, so i then said that if it aint working for ya the give it back, she said nooooooooo, i love it.
ok i quess, so i left it at that

Ratso! Now she smokes analogs wherever she can and vapes the ego wherever she can't smoke. Not the best outcome, so far.

BTW: Juice always taste rank when you taste it with your tongue. Many people throw up when they get some liquid juice in their mouth. no comparison to turning the liquid into a vapor and tasting it that way. Freedom Smoke's juice is fresh as someone mentioned and needs to steep for best flavor. good luck with you conversions. I wish you well.
