I am having two separate problems with two different clearomizers. I would greatly appreciate any help you all could give.

Problem 1: Brand new clearo works on one battery but not the other. Light comes on but no flavor, vapor, doesn't appear to do anything. Works fine on the other battery.

Problem 2: Clearo was working fine and then battery light starts flashing and clearo doesn't work. Thought the battery was dead so I switched batteries, but same thing. Switched clearos and that one works just fine.

Anyone know what's happening? Any way to fix either problem?

Thanks in advance for any help?

Do NOT use the clearo that is causing your battery light to flash. That is a short. The batteries sound like they are protecting themselves but you can still damage the battery.

The clearo that works on one battery but not the other means that the batteries have a slightly different height on the center post. Depending on the clearo and your battery type, you can adjust either the clearo center post or sometimes the battery center post.

You might need to pull the firing pin slightly on the bottom of the clearo. Vision rebuildable, is this the ce4 aka stardust? Use some tweezers, or needlenose pliers, grab the pin at the bottom and just very slightly pull it and see if that helps. Might have to do it a couple times. Sometimes if you screw them on too tightly, it will push the pin up and it's not really making contact with the battery.

Also, try firing that battery without anything on it briefly. If it flashes at that point, it needs to be charged.

Okay, so I have good news and bad news. The good news... If anyone is interested, if you have the rebuildables, you can take it completely apart and push down from the top. MUCH easier than trying to pull from the bottom. The bad news... Still didn't fix my problem. Tried varying depths and then tried pulling it way out and screwing it down to just flush. Then tried pulling it way out and screwing it down little by little, testing in between. Nothing. It goes from an easy draw and nothing, then to a hard draw and nothing. Just can't figure out why it works on the other battery... Quite the conundrum.

I think there's a bad bunch of clearos out there. I have a few that when you screw them in, cause the batt flash 3 to 5 times (never really counted, but it's not the standard low battery flash that flashes about 15 times). After that, the batt doesn't respond until you unscrew it and rescrew it again. After that, it might work again, but usually doesn't. (I found it might work if you didn't screw it in again all the way, but after a few times of doing that, horror! It fried the head and the battery quit working after that... I'm going to assume that the tube is causing it. I'll try the head again, but I don't think I'll trust the post anymore.
I think it might have to do with juice leaking through it. I usually find juice on the post when I take one of these out. More experiments to follow... :)

Thanks to you both. I am using KGO 1100 batteries and the vision rebuildable clearos.
Hi FencingGirl, I just got my KGO batteries and everything was good using them on my Vision v2, but when i put my Kanger t2 on...nothing. I got the KGO battery to work with the Kanger by using a EGO TO 510 adapter. Now, reading your post, i tryed the KGO battery with the Vision 2.0 and it just barely made contact before bottoming out ......if you understand what i just said. It apppears there is a QC issue here, but, the EGO TO 510 adapter also works with the Vision 2.0.....but you may want to cover the exposed threads with a cone.
