Two weeks without a craving

Well, two weeks without a craving for a cancer stick, really.

I smoked for the last 10 years of my life, this month in fact. I found ways to hide it, sneak it, and just not deal with the hassles I had as a smoker. Getting kicked outside to feed the habit, standing in the cold winter and blazing summers. I always reeked of cigarette smoke, I'd get edgy if I hadn't had a "fix" in a few days, and I really feel sorry for all the ladies...

Enter my friend, Mr. Tasty Vapor. About a year ago he made the switch. Then he started his own business. Now he's got his own employees and makes some of the best stuff ever to grace my lungs. I called him up (drunk) one night to catch up on some stuff, and got an earful of the wonders of the e-cigarette. How much less it costs, how much better you feel, how easy it is to quit analogs if you REALLY want to.

2 weeks later, I bought my first pv. I got one of his inexpensive 510 kits and some 36mg juice. MAN was I surprised. The throat hit, the taste (I vaped Kretek first), and the feel. It was incredible. A few days later my lungs started clearing up, and I haven't looked back since. Probably never will. And I owe it all to one friend that convinced me there was a better way to quit.

That's awesome, glad to hear you're off of cigarettes for good. Geoff is good people. He could be the biggest jerk in the world, but for what his liquids have done for me (made the taste of cigarettes absolutely unacceptable) he's good people.

Disclaimer: Geoff is not a jerk. I was just saying that for the good he's done for me personally that I'd still consider him good people even if he was a jerk. Which he's not.

yup been vaping for months now close to a year i have a real cig every once in awhile when i go to bars n stuff prolly have had less then a pack in a year i can smoke one cig and jus go to my vaping its jus as good as smoking to me dont really need to smoke a real cig jus do every now and then without going completely back to smoking

It's been about three weeks of vaping for me. I was smoking between 3/4 to one pack a day of Newports. My second day vaping, I only had 3 analogs. By the end of the first week I was smoking one analog a day.

Three days ago I had the urge for an analog (high-stress moment) and lit up. Immediately the taste was disgusting. Not even half way through, I felt nauseous and threw it out.

I haven't had an analog since and I hope I never will.

Thanks to everyone here for all the invaluable information. We need to battle the cigarette and insurance companies as well as the government to spread the word about E-Cigs. I have no doubt this is going to save my life and the lives of many others.

It's been almost 11 weeks for me. I've finally quit some of the habits, or thinking about the habits, that went with smoking. I always used to get up, start the coffee, then go outside to smoke. It took a long time to not reach for the door to go outside, even though I didn't want a cigarette. It was just part of my morning ritual. I still catch myself reaching to roll down the window in the car when I vape, but it's getting less and less.

Of course, now I have new habits. Now I have to pack a case of liquids, extra atomizer, etc. every time I walk out the door. I also seem to have developed the habit of checking what time it is to see if the mail has been delivered or not.

Only been a week for me, but once I get that box mod, I will put up one of those fancy signature counters and stray true to it Sounds like I need to get stronger dosages of nicotine though, I've been in the very low ranges, i got some 24 on the way that should hopefully do the trick for me, only been smoking for about a decade... but w/ the recent advancements in vaping -> no reason to ever give any more money to the largest serial killers in the world!

Wow that is fantastic Woulf! I found out pretty quick that anything under 24mg won't do it for me right now. (about two weeks in)

If all goes well *crossing fingers* today WILL be the first day for me without tobacco.

Still haven't tried tasty vapor yet, but I have read so many great things, I really must give them a try.

Gridtec, you can! I didn't think I could do it without substituting a few analogs, etc. By the 3rd day, I was on vaping ONLY. The first two days had cut my analog intake...85% the first day, and 92% the second day. I kept watching the clock, but it was miraculous!

When I went to vaping 100%, I watched the clock as well, but I check it less and less. I wait for my 12 hour intervals now. Get one of those counters that tell you how much you are NOT smoking and how much money you're saving. I check it every morning and before I go to bed at night. Like I said in another post, with e-cigs, you don't feel so deprived. You can always step down the nicotine level, but your body is not getting the tars and carcinogins (SP). You can do this!

Its been almost 2 months and i hope to never run out of liquid... I havent had an analog since.... But i didnt smoke cigarettes i was hooked on black and mild's... About 3-5 a day . After vaporizing an e-cig i don't ever want to go back. I love the boost of energy.
