I use the Type A atty in both my Erolls and Joye CCs. Over the last month I've discovered something and can't say why its this way but it is. The Type A seems to need 3.7 volts to perform properly which the Eroll is but when its used on a Joye Ego C upgrade that vapes at 3.3 volts or using it in a VV unit vaping below 3.7 volts the atty not only doesn't perform well but it gunks up really fast. So, if you're judging the atty by using it in the ego c upgraded battery, you need to set it unregulated or you won't be very impressed by it plus you'll blow through attys at a high rate, needing to clean more often or ruin them. That goes for VV batteries trying to vape lower than 3.7 volts also and with both LR and SR attys. If a techie comes along who can say why this is I would appreciate the input.

Makes sense to me ...

That's why my atomizers seem to last forever in the eRoll, never get "burnt", but are more troublesome in the Ovale Elips ...

I've started re-wicking with stainless mesh wicks in the Elips, seem to be holding up OK, but its only been a few days ...

I did notice that when I dry burned open atomizers with an eRoll battery, they glowed a bright orange and self-cleaned in 2 or 3 cycles ...

Used an eCab to dry burn, and the coil was noticeably cooler and took more burn cycles to clean (I assume the eCab is also 3.3 volts) ...
