Am I the only one who smoked wides? I used to smoke Camel Filters, then changed to Camel Light Wides for the last three months before getting my 510.

well I answered Marlboros because that was what I smoked most recently and for the longest time. I used to smoke Camel wides on a regular basis when they first came out for quite awhile. Before that I smoked Camel nonfiltered 3 packs/day for quite a long time. And on occasion over the years I would smoke Lucky Strikes when I happened to catch them on a BOGO sale while driving thru VT.

I smoked Pall Mall Ultra light 100's for the past 5 yrs. When I move to a small town here in IL 5 yrs ago the local gas station always had them at a great price till this yr with the new and improved taxes. 2 to 3 packs a day normally could go 4 if stressed. I had been coughing for a good two yrs. Smoked for 46 yrs. A friend said to me about a month in to V4L that I sounded different and wasn't coughing anymore. I didn't think I coughed that much but I guess I did. The cough was gone in about a month. Food and smells are pretty much the same as when I smoked. Well my house and car smell 150% better now. <g>.

Djarum Specials for 17 years. Yummy smoky cloves. True communion with fire and was a cigarette and incense stick all in one. Give me an hour and I could take over the smell of a room.

But yummy French toast and orange cream tastes much better. VG fluid gives me copious amounts of vapor so I don't even miss the smoke swirls in the air :)

Parliament Light 100s. Before that, Taryeton 100's. Always preferred the charcoal filter cigarettes.

I have not had the experiences that some have described with my lungs clearing themselves out and hacking up gunk, but it must have happened somehow. My smokers cough is gone completely. I didn't even notice until my husband pointed it out. I am able to take deep breaths now and climb stairs without a problem. Three months ago, that just wasn't happening.

Marlboro Ultra Lights.
And man, I loved those things.

Started on Tareytons (my mom's brand) then I smoked Mores (the skinny brown nasties), then Marlboro 100's. Then they came out with my downfall: Ultra Lights.

The insidious thing about UL's is that you can easily smoke 2 packs a day and never cough, never wheeze, no headaches - nothing. So you don't get any overt physical symptoms that remind you that they're killing you, you just happily smoke more.
I wonder how many gazilions the invested in developing those perfect little cigarettes.
pah!

Not very many menthol smokers here! I smoked Salem black labels then switched to Marlboro Milds. Can deff breathe better, no more smokers cough and I can smell a little bit better now!:D

menthols were always like candy to me everytime I finished one I'd need a real cig. although I would buy a pack of newports anytime I had a sore throat that was bad enough that it made it hard to breathe.

I second that!! I smoked cloves off and on from 2000 to ban. I was a Djarum Black girl, but also enjoyed the specials and the bali hai's. At the end I was paying about $9 a pack for them.

I'll have to try the french toast and orange cream, Tenebrae! I ordered some of the clove carts in the mean time.

After the ban I experimented around a bit and ended up liking the American Spirit black pack - they are a blend of Perique tobacco, which is grown in Louisiana and cured in oak whiskey barrels. Usually smoked as pipe tobacco, it is considered to be the truffle of tobaccos.

My VK shipped today, so I can't wait to switch!!!

In London i smoked B&H / Sovereign... here in USA Marlboro Lights.... now none.

I don't even like being around the smell of cigarettes anymore it's horrible, when i was on my way to Hollywood not long ago i went into the airport smoking room and i swear i was literally in there for a couple of minutes and the smell stayed on my clothes for hours afterwards it was disgusting LOL.

This thread seems as though it would be much more useful if people were to list their go-to tobacco flavor vape along with what they used to smoke. It would probably really help some people in the future.

Camel Wide Lights were my smoke of choice before I switched to Camel Turkish Royals. After that I switched here and there to Kamel Reds and Camel Lights, but always went right back to my Turkish Royals.

I'm still looking for the *perfect* replacement for it, but so far I've found that 555 and Kamel are the best tobacco flavors for me. Neither really replicate the flavor that I long for, but they are quite good (especially 555, my new favorite). I hope to find a nice mix or straight replacement for my Turkish Royals but I'm not holding my breath.

I was actually in the same boat as you... The thing is the flavor that I find replicates a regular cigarette the most are the coffee carts. I was originally disappointed because the cart wasn't producing much vapor, but after one refill, it started vaping like crazy!!!

The best throat hit I've had of all of them... and it doesn't have that sweet taste that most of the cigarette carts have.

Coffee is my go to vape... because it tastes very similar to an actual cig and has the best throat hit of all the carts I've tried!!! Actually tastes pretty similar to Camels!!!

If u haven't tried it, I suggest u do!!!

Marlboro Light 100's in a box. Once in a while I would get the Marlboro Ultra Light 100's, but not often. When I quit, I was paying roughly $55 a carton at Sam's Club. Smoking a bit over a pack a day. YIKES!

Now my faves are Cappuccino/Coffee, Banana, Banana Cream Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, Ice Cream Sundae, Chocolate, Enlgish Toffee.... Hmmmm those are my top faves right now.

Ask me in a few days and I will probably add Carmel Frappuccino to the list! Can't wait to get my order!

For the last 5-6 years, I was smoking Nat Shermann Mint Naturals. No additives. Very pricey. So pricey that I almost stroked out when the last pack I purchased was....$9.00!!!! AND I had to go to special cigar shops to get them. So very unhandy. (For many years before the Nat Shermans, I was a Benson & Hedges Menthol Ultra-Lights girl. I could get those anywhere...)

Now I am a Hilton and Menthol cartomaniac. Those are my go-to flavors. I enjoy the Coffee and Ry4 and ordered several various new flavors (on sale!) last night. Steve threw in a sample of 555 liquid in the order I received yesterday; now I already know what I'm ordering next time...
Geez, I really am a junkie!!!
;)
