I was actually in the same boat as you... The thing is the flavor that I find replicates a regular cigarette the most are the coffee carts. I was originally disappointed because the cart wasn't producing much vapor, but after one refill, it started vaping like crazy!!!

The best throat hit I've had of all of them... and it doesn't have that sweet taste that most of the cigarette carts have.

Coffee is my go to vape... because it tastes very similar to an actual cig and has the best throat hit of all the carts I've tried!!! Actually tastes pretty similar to Camels!!!

If u haven't tried it, I suggest u do!!!

Oh yeah, I'm way ahead of you. I actually picked up some 24mg coffee carts ASAP after ordering my UU kit. I found the 24mg to be a little too strong so I ordered a 30ml bottle of 11mg coffee and it was just right. For a while now that and banana have been my go-to vapes, but I was just longing for a good tobacco flavor after a while. As I said before, my new fav is 555, but I'm not dropping coffee or banana anytime soon.

Virginia Super Slim Menthols (full flavor) .. smoked those since they were introduced many, many moons ago. Capri menthols before that. B&H Menthol Lts before that. And I started with Kools as a youngster which were about .55 a pack back then. Still haven't completely given up the analogs & the current flavor is Camel Crush ..

I still have a crapload of the Djarum Browns I ordered direct from indonesia. They are very close to special flavor. I also have a few packs of supers. Helps to have something to compare to when trying to recreate a flavor. PM me if you are interested.

I am told that the V4L cloves are very close to the Djarum Black taste but I would be interested in hearing what a long term clove smoker thinks.

Trues. I had started off with them in menthol but switched to non decades ago, since strangely I didn't care much either way, and back then word on the street was that menthol 'crystallized' your lungs. I think I was one of the only ppl in the country who liked Trues -- not stocked many places, and almost everyone who ever bummed one, including smokers of other ultra lights, would promptly make a face and hurl it to the ground. They're TOO light and airy to most, but didn't seem that way to me (except for less of the downsides, like stinkiness, cough, breathlessness, etc.). Parliament Lights were second choice, Marlboro Lights a distant third.

Would you believe, in the city of Chicago cartons of cigs are like $110 now??

Parliment Light 100''s,the past six years cheapo's. I vape 555's,coffee,cuban{out right now),french pipe,Cappucino,and Ry-4. RY-4 is my go to right now.

As I wrote earlier, I smoked charcoal cigarettes; Parliament and Tareyton. I forgot that I also smoked Lark but they stopped making them, I think.

My favorite e-flavors are Parliament (the best!), Virginia, coffee, 555, English Toffee, banana and pear. I got a freebie Raspberry cart in my last order and now I really like that, too.

My "favorite" flavor seems to be changing weekly! I love the fruit and coffee flavors the best right now.

When I first started, I bought cigarettes from a machine at a cafe down the street from the hotel we were living at the time for 25 cents a pack. When I quit smoking I was smoking Winston Lights $5.60 a pack.

I always smoked Marlboros. Started with reds (30 some years ago!) ended smoking Ultra Light 100s. I can't decide if my favorite tobacco cart at that moment is Parliament or Kamel.

Marlboro Lights 100mm for years, then full-flavor Marlboro 100s for years more, and finally (when taxes ticked me off) Tucson 100s full-flavor -- from an indian reservation. Don't ask me how the indians managed to own two square blocks of prime real estate in downtown Palm Springs, but they did. And the Tucsons were actually pretty good! $22 a carton, no tax / no shipping (in 10-carton orders).

I've still got three cartons of Tucsons in the cupboard. I haven't wanted an analog since the day my V4L kit arrived.

Smoked Camel straights for years, then went to Winston, then Winston lights, and the last 15 years menthol. Mostly Newport 100's, but at the end I couldn't handle them anymore and stayed with American Spirit Menthol till the Ecig took over.

And now Steve is bringing American Sprit Menthol to us! You know I'll be ordering a pack of those!

Why would i drag on that nasty thing when i can have banana, toffee, frenchtoast etc...

I tried to smoke french toast once but the papers kept getting wet and sticky. Then the butter dripped down my arm and started on fire, luckly the maple syrup was handy to put it out, but now I'm burned and sticky.
Perhaps we should just stick to vaping french toast.

Insane isn't it, thankfully I don't even pay much attention to it. But $7.50 for 20 coffin nails is just insane! Let's just hope the nanny government doesn't do the same thing with our vape!

Thanks!! I've been able to get a few packs of Bali Hais recently. But I think I'm going to just try to make the cold turkey switch. As long as whatever I'm vaping is yummy, I think I'll be a happy camper!

Even when I smoked my tastes and favorite flavors changed a lot. Early on I smoked Marlboro Reds, switched to Kamel Reds, Marlboro Mediums (for a while) & Parliment Lights most recently (& the best ones I ever smoked).

My favorite flavors as of now are Red Bull, Vanilla Caramel, and Grape. In the first 2 weeks I started I couldn't put the Vanilla or Cherry down. So I ordered a couple 30 ml bottles and wouldn't ya know, a couple carts later I can't stand the stuff...

Oh geez, I was a smoker that liked smoking and as such what I smoked changed upon mood cycled from Nat Sherman black and golds, winstons, camel wides or wide lights, all those special flavor blends that camel had, marlboro virginia blends, reds, a pipe, and a hookah...
Usually I had the nat shermans or virginia blends, along with a pack of cloves or a pipe on me at any given point, and a hookah at home for social interactions or for special events..

So yeah I totally was working on tanking my lungs...I've gotten my sense of smell back, and my sinuses have been draining...but I still as of yet, in the 3 weeks of vaping only, haven't had the coughing and clearing of the lungs with hacking up all the nasty stuff..
