Ok. First off I don't use humongous rocket launcher devices for vaping. I'm only 3 months in and am using an ego-t.
I got tired of using clearomizers with the wicks for 1.6ml. Sometimes they worked, sometimes not. And when they worked it was just barely.
So I ordered and recieved a U-DCT small tank. I like the vape I'm getting so far but not liking how many times I have to re-fill it in a day.
It's supposed to be a 3.5ml tank and I just don't see that. I have already filled my new tank at least 6 times today. When I was using the clearomizer I was filling only one to 1-1/2 times a day.
I've watched the videos for how to fill and prime the tank and am wondering if I may be doing something wrong or is this normal for these type of tanks? Any thoughts or advice?

Yeah, no way those tanks hold anywhere near 3.5mL, not even if you include the carto. They are even slimmer than the older Smoktech slim DCTs. The space between the outside of the carto, and the inside of the plastic tube is VERY slim, the whole thing is kind of silly actually,

I think the carto holds way more juice than the tank does, which kind of defeats the purpose. Instead of topping off your carto every hour, you have to fill the whole tank up every hour, pretty ridiculous if you ask me. You aren't doing anything wrong, these tanks just don't hold crap for juice.

If you want another tank that holds more, but is close to the same slim size as your current tank, you could get the other SmokTech tank I was talking about. They are available everywhere online it seems, here's a link to them at Madvapes:

Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer, 3.5ml, Yellow

You can get them in a bunch of different colors too. I think Boge also sells a tank about the same size, but I believe it uses the standard length, not the XL cartos, so it won't hold as much as the Smoktech one. It really is a shame about the low capacity on those slim locking tanks, because I initially bought a bunch of the larger 6ml ones, and loved them, then got a bunch of the slims thinking they would be just as good. But they don't hold anything, it's nutty.

Hope this helps!
