So I am testing out this combo on a Lambo 4.0 and the first cart lasted about 5 days with no issues whatsoever, but now I am on the second cart and it is drowning and spits a lot of juice. It also seems like the air flow is a lot less than the first. 1 day in and it seems to be producing about the same output as the 5 day old cart. If I remove it from the tank and blow it out, it seems to work pretty well. Anyone else experience similar issues with DCTanks and cartomizers?

The only real difference I can think of is the e-juice. I had some "High Caliber e-liquid" made by Vapor Associates LLC which lasted me about the whole 5 days with the first cart. Now I am vaping some Black Mamba Evenom. However, both are 50/50 blend.

Is it just hit or miss with these carts? :glare:

Closely triple check your o-rings. 97% of tank issues are a result of a nicked/deformed o-ring. And no, it's not your joose.

I've noticed, even with 100% VG and almost syrupy juice, if I consistently "hard hit" my CartoTanks with double laser hole those draws can cause the carto to over-wet and gurgle. I can do the same with a 60/40 and single-hole cartos. Especially if I've been working that tank for a while. The heat from the carto usually has warmed up the thicker juice and it tends to flow from the tank into the carto much easier than when it was "cold".

Not saying that you are, but I am curious if you may be hitting them hard?

Finding a juice/hole/draw balance is something that I personally am still working out, especially since the juices can be such a "wild card" in the formula.

If I have flooded a carto, I try to blow the center chamber clear, check my threads for overflow (and clean up the drops that are usually there) and then consciously ease up on my draws and let the carto's "flood level" work/cook its way down. If that works, I'm good. If not, if it was a 2 hole, I try a 1 hole.
