There I was two months ago afraid it'd take me half a year to succeed in getting hold of one... and now I've managed to get one in each of the first 2 batches.
Not too shabby for someone whose internet barely gives dial-up a run for its money!
He has stated numerous times "At least 500, but no more than 1000"Saw someone mention about only 1000 getting made... I just can't see Pete stopping at that. He'd have to be slightly crazy to with them selling this well!

Damn... I'd better consider ordering some spare parts in the next month or so then, there's no telling how long he'll keep stock around.
Kinda curious what serial number I'll get this time, wasn't that quick with the fingers this morning (waking up at 4am does that haha) so I'd bet I was at the tail end of the orders.
Well, remember now, he is a one man team doing this in his free time, he still has a day job too

I had one in the basket with the mini kit then hesitated for a few minutes as I have been waiting for the MB Gem and then missed out.
Oh well, I just went and got a Vapor Giant Mini V2 to ease the pain until I try for a MB GEM

Yea, Ubertuesday will be happening for the foreseeable future if he's only putting up batches of 15-20 at a time. The "one of not many" remark on the top cap wouldn't make much sense if he continued production past the 500-1000 units he intended . I'm sure it won't be the end of Ubertoot though. When he's finished with UTA2 production, Pete will probably be able to quit his day job and do this full time. Who knows what else he could dream up.
Mtek I added mini kit to my order through the drop down, the UTA2 sold out first before the mini kit. I'm still shocked I managed to get one. The website started to chug down a little once the stock went up, and I stared at a loading screen for about 30 seconds when I was trying to complete checkout. As soon as I got through Paypal it was out of stock, so I just barely managed.

Besides time, that was the other reason I went back for the kit, if the kit sells out first, I lose out on the UTA too.
I though you weren't gonna go for the mini initially too?
