I have both. A CP that I can keep at 150º as well as the Harbor Freight large UC. Either will hold what I need at one time.

I have read and re read the many threads (recent and older) in this forum pertaining to this subject. Each time I read a section, I seem to be swayed in THAT direction. I am a serious hobbyist with a very limited mixing experiences- not a reseller.

In as few words as possible please, which one should I use exclusively and why?

I only have room for one or the other.

Thanks for the upcoming answers!

Seems like it would be easy enough for you to figure out since you already have both. Make up a mix and split it into 2 bottles. Put one in each appliance. After they are done, try them and go with the one you prefer. I don't use either, I'm more of a shake and vape kind of guy.

Cheers,
Steve

I have not used either, wanted to but just haven't. What I do do is.. I have a halogen clamp on desk light that I rigged a little platform on top and set my bottles there for an hour or so, shaking often, and then put em up in the cuppard uncapped overnight. Next mornin cap em and put em in a drawer for a week or so.

I have tested both repeatedly. 4 hours at 150° in a crock pot or a heated UC at the same temp makes no difference. You will get the same result.

What is not necessary is any vibration/shaking after a quick hand shaking right after mixing a batch. Heat mixes juice all by itself.

Use whatever you like, heat and/or time alone is the key. Either heat steep and vape in several hours, or wait a couple weeks... same results. Ive done these tests countless times every which way I can think of. Everyone is going to have their own opinions... be they right or wrong. My advice, test for yourself and do what works best for you.

See my Blog post for a documented controlled test comparing both methods:

Thanks Mike. I already read it twice and bookmarked it. (I feel like I spent the weekend with you. I watched your experiments - real time - this weekend. Well, as real time as one can get through a forum.. I jumped on your posts as soon as they showed up in my email alert.)

Again, thanks!!

Thank you for all this effort. I like your "no-bull...." approach. I feel we can rely on your results.
