UFS and CARTS

So today i snapped and binned the last atty out of frustration.Dam things never last me more than 2 days.Even though for the 2 days thay DO work there great in the UFS.

So today i got some 510 carts. I chopped them to the same size as a 510 atty punched 1mm holes in each side and it works great.

So now i am a very happy vapour GGTS UFS and CARTS heaven

Now if i can just make the UFS tank hold 20 ml of liquid.......oh well cant have every thing lol

Darn, I have been using the same Joye LR 510 in the UFS since I got it. I just take it out every 2-3 days clean it out using PGA by forcing the PGA through it with a syringe and a rubber adapter. blow it out, let it dry for a little bit. then prime with VG then off I go again.

What in the world are you doing to attys that cause them to fail that fast?

I've had the same lr 1.5 atty in the UFS for 3 weeks now and it's just getting better. Are they cheap attys? What kind of juice do you use? What voltage?

edit: I did notice that when I bought cheaper attys they wouldn't last long at all. So I bought a ton of attys from avidvaper 3 weeks ago and I'm still using the same one in the UFS since then. You pay for quality in my opinion.

I vape at 6 volt useing PG and HV attys from e-cigs I do tend to chain vape but i just cant seem to get along with attys at all.
There far so fickle for me.there a bit like a women lol But the carts are like tanks.Abuse them all you want and thay still vape like a steam train.

The funny thing is though, I dont think 8.99 is even that expensive
@Jonah, what ohm atty are you using? what brand because you are the first person I have heard say that a carto lasts longer than an atty, I guess a carto can last a long time but they start tasting like total .... long before they totally stop working. If you are not using quality I suggest ikv for hv.

Well yeah 8.99 isn't expensive at all but I use cartos a lot with my Reo Grand and they are 8.99 for five. Then when I first started off I saw some attys for $15 for 5 and they were just garbage. So I consider these the more expensive ones and they do last a lot longer and perform great. I can have my dual coil cartos running for 2 weeks max and then they have to get thrown in the trash because they taste awful. This 3 week old atty tastes great and still performs fantastic.

The trouble over here in the uk is getting a branded atty the only vendors i know with Cisco Joye or the like seem to be always out of stock.

I've had the same problem using 3 ohm atties at 6v but i bought some Lr510 joyes last week and im getting a stirling performance @3.7v from them, nearly a week and still going strong (i normally bin them after about a week and a half as they start to drop off and i can't be arsed to clean them as i see .50p a day OK).
Going to order a few normal resistance atties from the states to try for 6v see if they're better then i will just order 20 at a time

I use the dual coil cartos in the UFS without cutting them down, and just stick the top of the dc out of the UFS with a drip tip. The only thing that blows is the top o-ring doesn't seat properly without the mouthpiece to hold it in place.

** Hint ** Hint ** Hint ** Imeo, I'd love to see a mouth piece adaptor that would go around a standard 510 carto and tighten down onto the UFS top (mouth piece) threads so I could use the carto sticking out the top without having to clean the liquid off of the top all day long.

Greenhouse 1's are 3 bucks each with free shipping on $250 orders.....AND a 6 month warranty. I've been using their entire range of attys for months w/o an issue. Sure, I get careless and fry one or two, but they are solid performers and NOBODY can match the price and warranty.

Funny you should mention an adapter for using Carto's in the UFS. Seems Imeo has done exactly that.

What is it? I can't see videos - my only internet connection has YouTube blocked. It really sucks to not be able to see any of the instructional videos, new product releases, etc., because everything is posted in video format. Could someone capture a few frames and clue those of us with restricted connections in on what's going on around here?

What do you use to cut down the cartos to the correct size?

I just use a small bladed metel hand saw.Dont forget to leave on the ext tube on the atty when cutting to size.

And i use the turbo XL from cloud 9 there really good carts.

What battery are you using to get to 4.8V?

4.8V NiMH 600mah Battery COV has them too but I just happen to be looking at that site

I use those and they work well, you have to get the special charger for them though.
