Following are my initial impressions of the UFS (Uninterrupted Feed System). Before I do that, it's fair to say I'm biased-- the AVS 2 changed my vaping experience so profoundly that I have been using it almost exclusively for the last 8 months, so I really like my AVS.
Initial Impressions
The UFS is beautiful and the craftsmanship is extremely impressive. When I received it, I took all the pieces apart to thoroughly wash them and it looks like a LOT of pieces. Putting them back together again took me all of 15 minutes the first time because I struggled to remember which direction the clear window went 'up'. I went back to watch Imeo's video and couldn't tell, but I must have gotten it right. I also struggled a bit with how to get my 510 to screw into the base. The second time I put it together, it took about 5 minutes but I was changing atomizers, too.
Here's a tip: Put the first section onto the control tank (just above the control ring) and rotate it all the way down (clockwise) and then attach the atomizer. Play with it for a moment and notice how twisting the juice control subtly raises and lowers to cover or expose the air slots of the 510. When turning counter-clockwise, the air slots will be completely closed.
Comparison to AVS 2
Build - The threads on the entire UFS are so much better that it makes my AVS seem cheap. And remember, I love my AVS. The new window is incredible-- I didn't know I was missing that until I got the UFS. Fiddling around with twisting and turning the juice flow the first time with juice in the tank, I started to unscrew some of the connections unintentionally (between the window and its connecting pieces). Fortunately, the threads are lengthy enough that no drops of liquid escaped. I also played around with leaving the air and juice control rings open to see if there was any leakage, but there was none. I left them open over night on a tray and there was still no leakage. Just like my AVS, the UFS didn't leak at all.
Weight - When I am holding the AVS in one hand and the UFS in the other, the UFS feels decidedly heavier. When I'm just holding only the UFS, it seems fine. It's still not as heavy as several of my other mods.
Atomizer - I used a KR808 cartomizer with 6v exclusively on my AVS and never tried the 510 adapter. I did try it with an 18650 or 14500 a couple of times and it just didn't work for me. Since the UFS has only a 510 connection:
Summary
The UFS is a distinct improvement over the AVS 2. The major differences are improvements in build quality, ability to control juice flow, slight improvement in taste (over a cartomizer), and a tighter, less airy draw. The new window is just right-- I can see well enough to determine the amount (and health) of juice remaining. I've read some posters asking about a larger tank, but for me this is exactly the right size and refills are simple.
I am thoroughly impressed with the new UFS. It was well worth the cost in my opinion.

- I first tried a LR 510 with an 18650 on the UFS and it gave me nearly the same experience as the cartomizer/6v setup. Flavor was better, but throat hit was a little weaker. The draw was a little tighter, meaning even with the UFS air control fully open, it was a little tighter draw than the same position on the AVS 2. Vapor production was surprisingly high.
- Next, I tried a HV 510 with two LiFePO4 3.0v batteries and the experience was similar to the AVS. Flavor was slightly muted in comparison, but throat hit was the same. The notable difference was that after vaping for about an hour, I think the UFS was delivering more nicotine (same juice) and I ended up needing to take a break-- my pulse was racing. Perhaps that's a difference between cartomizer and atomizer. Again, the draw was a bit tighter on the UFS, but vapor production was similar.
