yep. everyone is different. If you are cutting back on smoking then you are "winning". Try not to think of it as much like "quitting smoking" as replacing tobacco. I smoked a pipe heavily for 30 years. I vape heavily now, but that's ok. I know it's healthier and I can still enjoy all the good things about smoking without the bad.

When I smoked cigs tasted great and everything else was bland. Once I started vaping cigs had a nasty dry dirty taste and everything else was good. I think the hardest thing to get over was the warm TH with a cigs. Took me several days of buying the having a few, realizing how bad they taste and throwing them out. I still couldn't get over or replicate the hit that a cig gave. After a week or so I just made the decision not to buy any. The TH and flavor really came on with the e-cigs after a few days off analog. It's been 40 days now and the analog cravings are gone other than the rush of anxiety I get sometime when I drive by the store where I always stopped every day to buy a pack. I take a different route home now.

I have vaped for 15 months now and my advice would be if you really want a cig then have it. The main thing about being able to make the transition to vaping is find your right juice. That doesnt (for me) mean upping nicotine levels. I started like probably most people that are still in cigarette frame of mind that just wanted to vape something like their analogs. You find your juice you got it made. We started selling ecigs where I work because of the success that the employees had. We have a wall of different flavors and I can vape a 24mg and it not satisfy me because of the flavor, not the nicotine. I use to be a marlboro menthol person but I found my sweet spot with nuclear cinnamon at 18mg the flavor is strong and thats what it took for me. Great job on cutting back and just give it some time and keep looking for your juice. Do keep in mind that nicotine is addictive and I personaly wouldnt recommend vaping that high mg. I think the flavor is what your craving and missing. Good luck, you can do this.
