can't count how many times i get a regular envelope with a new stuff in it, w/e was inside never makes it. the feeling of getting a package is all exciting but when you see that empty paper envelope, you just feel like it would have been more exciting to take a wad of cash and set it on fire.

the envelopes that have bubble wrap are perfect for this. also it's usually around a single dollar to ship via first-class with that method.
envelopes go threw machines that press on them, packages are processed differently.

just sucks because, my atty has been revived a few times, has that taste that resembles burnt popcorn with a hint of w/e flavor it's supposed to be.

from here out, direct orders from companies.

I think DC is referring to the USPS First Class Mail envelope that some suppliers send items in. They wrap individual things in bubble wrap and then they're placed inside of a thick paper envelope. I believe these travel through the mail system with normal letters, as opposed to a separate supply chain with Priority Mail.

Had a lot of stuff shipped to me this way, but never an empty envelope. The corner edge of my old 510 kit did have a dented corner, but no real damage. Pretty peculiar that you're getting empty envelopes, like they're resealed? Or the postman is really putting a ripped open envelope into your mailbox? This is something you should take up with your local post office, maybe they have some really old sorting machines or something.

i keep getting things in the envelopes you would send a letter in.
the ones shipped that you get with bubble wrap are fine. just saying if i get one more that isn't packaged correctly, i'll loose the last bit of my mind i have left.

Wow...I've never gotten an order in a plain envelope either. My orders have always arrived in perfect condition. I'd only get one like that from each supplier and they'd be on my black list. If they don't care enough to package an order the best way possible to avoid damage, I wouldn't trust what was inside. Sometimes crap happens during mail processing but if it's in a bubble envelope or small box, it's much less likely to arrive damaged. Change to a different supplier.

lmao, not a vender. random people i have been swapping or buying off of.
that was the point is that, i'm pretty much sticking with venders from here out.

i'm all better now though, i do know that tomorrow i will be getting one more.. i'm going to just tell anyone that gets the mail to toss out anything not in a package. i do not want to see another ripped empty envelope again.

I received a metal drip tip in a plain envelope from an ECF transaction.

To say I wasn't impressed would be an understatement. I was shocked it was still IN the envelope at all, considering it was a brass drip tip. It also hadn't been cleaned and it arrived pretty much black.

But, why bother with the whole negative feedback thing? It DID arrive, no one SAID it was BLACK, but WTH..

Same here. Just a plain white envelope with the drip tip inside a folded piece of paper.

At least he sent me another... This time it was wrapped in tissue and a few layers of paper. At least it got here.

I think its just common courtesy and common sense to use proper packing materials... a lot of time and frustration can be saved by doing it right the first time.
