Ugh. I keep torturing myself and opening up the link to my first REO.

battery wise - anything i can fit in it! mnke's are fine - i like the Orbtronics, which are re-badged Panasonics and The guy above me was reckoning Samsungs but i could only find those on Amazon UK :p

I got some 18650 mnke's a week ago and they were crap until the weekend and then i cleaned and filed my Reo. But i still rate the Orbs.

Just so you know - the recommended batteries are AW 18650s at 1600mAh.

the reason I asked about the resistance; people have had maintenance problems with subΩ and flat buttontop batteries. Sparking causing the firing pin to oxidize and get dirty that way. My wife uses my old MNKEs at 1.2Ω+ with no problems.

I use the Samsung flat buttontops; but I make my own firing pins designed for them.

AW IMR 18650 1600mAh are some awesome batteries for the Grand.

Is there any reason why the AW 1600mah is recommended or would it be OK to use the AW 2000mah. Apart from the Mah, are there any other differences.

I've been running the 2000s with spectacular results but I don't have 1600s to compare them too. I typically vape around 1.5 ohms and swap batteries around 1/2 way they the 6 ml bottle :)

As to why they are recommended, I have no idea, but I think they have a higher amp rating.

They have a higher current discharge rate to support lower resistance coils, and have a more linear discharge rate at those increased discharge rate. I, however, use a 1.6 ohm coil, and therefore a lower draw on the battery. Therefore, I can take advantage of the longer life afforded by the 2000 mAh battery.

unsure
