You are always welcome but bring a sleeping bag 'cause my dog and cat sleep with me on my twin daybed. LOL My studio cottage is very small but I'll make room. My friend came from Scotland for 2 weeks and we survived. ;)

Is your dog your avatar? If so how do you both fit on a twin. I have a sleeping bag, I'll let you know when I have reached that point of either run or the needto hurt someone really bad :D

I hope that is how it works, doll! I have been hoping that since December though, so that should mean we are at the 6 month point now. :( Not happening. Treading water is SO hard to do for a long time! I'm tired! :(

Let go. It's a lot less tiring. Find adventure in minimalism and get rid of the things weighing you down. You have your family and that's more than many have. Make every moment with them count and you'll forget how bad it is. As long as it doesn't touch us it doesn't matter what it is. Find joy in the wildflowers and making mud pies. There is still much to be enjoyed. Designate a certain time to worry and plan and if you start to fret tell yourself it's not fretting time and it will just have to wait.

Look at the quote beneath my signature, Toni.........it is true if you believe it.

The last year has been painful for me also. I have one daughter who has had cervical cancer and another daughter where something is wrong with the optic nerves in her eyes (don't have the diagnosis yet..waiting on further results from tests)....seems like things never go smooth in my life.......but I know that God is there for me if I call on him and believe that He knows what is best.

It's amazing how little strength you feel you have until something happens to one of your children. Be strong. ((sandy))

Replace fretting with something that makes you happy. When it is the designated worry time get out paper and pen and organize your thoughts and what you have control over. Work on solutions for those things and let the others go.

Will you guys please remind me when I'm too down to see through the fog?

I feel lame that I posted that I was having a rough time. :( I am supposed to be "strong" and believe that people can make it through anything... blahhhhhhhhhhh

I need to just keep reminding myself that I am lucky to be alive, have a wonderful husband, amazing, healthy, happy children and a roof over my head. *reminding myself now*

*Also, I wanted to add that this has nothing to do with PV's or juice or anything. I am good to go and do not need anything more than I have, just a rough time in general and I posted here because I trust you guys and know you are here for me!

I'm not sure what I missed but I am really sorry that you are having a difficult time. I know how you feel. You can come to PIF or me any time you need to just let it all out. There is no judgment allowed here! I hope things get better for you soon!

I don't know what I missed, either, but I hope everything's alright! I know I'm not on here much, but I am always willing to help anyone out that needs it or just needs to talk.

Toni, Fudge Monkey and Sandy, my thoughts and prayers are with each of you and your families to make it through these rough times.

I've been through A LOT in my life (an amputation, abusive ex-husband, alcoholic father) and the one thing that always helped me to stay strong was to remember that God only gives you what you can handle. It may not seem at the time that you can handle what's going on, but you CAN! Going through these rough patches makes you a better person, I really believe that.

Stay strong and try to keep your head up! I'm sending lots of love your way.

Will be thinking of all of you and keeping you guys in my prayers.

Sometimes life just seems to be an awful mess...then I look around and there always seems to be someone who has it so much more difficult that I do....

So...we all have to say our blessings for the things we do have..and pray for the things that need to be changed / better for ourselves and everyone else.

Big hugs for all of you ...

File for unemployment? Unbelievable. Iam a FIRM believer in "honesty is the best policy" But this makes me wonder.

Honesty is the best policy but unfortunately not everyone is.

My husband just had the same situation but it was reversed, he made the offer to his boss to be contract labor instead of an employee. His boss said no, so after working for a company for 18 years and thinking that he won't say no and then he does! Then the guy that was working with him on projects told a supplier not to sell to him
He spent 2 weeks being depressed and now he doesn't know what to do. So he is slowly trying to start his own business, which is why he wanted to do the contract. What a pain to start your on business.

I am trying to not get upset about things today, and keep positive! Autumnbreeze, if you can make it through those things, I surely can make it through the rough patch we are having now! You must be really strong!

Clumsy, you are right on with everything you said! Sometimes it's so hard to see through things and get into that mode of thinking! I always need a little push!

warlike, congrats on the job offer! Weird that they were so quick to throw you to your vaca days! Hopefully the job offer goes through as it should and you have nothing to worry about!! ;)

Fudge, so not cool! Some people just kill me, they are only out to better themselves and don't give a lick about anyone else. Loyalty means so little to some people. :( Lame. I hope that your husband gets his business up and running strong and he is happy once again!
