woulda been nice to at LEAST see some competition...

WORLD CHAMPS ~ SEAHAWKS

I could not believe that the broncos just choked play after play...we won as we should have...but I expected a totally different game than was played!

I Wouldn't say they choked, just haven't seen a defense nowhere near that good

Baltimore's Defense in 2000, not as physical, but every bit as smothering. If New York doesn't get a return for a TD, they get shutout altogether in that game.

That being said, The Seahawks D was flat out mean to Denver's WR's.

Talked with a friend who went to the game and I heard others on the radio about something I haven't seen too much on.

The noise during that first snap was so loud, louder than anyone ever heard during a Giants or Jets game. Although there didn't seem to be too many Seahawk fans. It looked like more Denver fans just from seeing the colors, but I'll guess most people don't have team color winter coats. Plus this is a neutral field.

But the roar at that first snap (and continuing) took Denver completely by surprise. The 49ers expected it in Seattle, but who knew the 12th man effect would be in Jersey? Denver's Offense never recovered.

The Denver defense did well to hold Seattle to field goals in the first Q. It could have been 16-0. They only gave up 1 touchdown in the first half, yet trailed 22-0.

After the special teams allowed that kickoff return at the start of the third, they were deflated. 28-0.

Oh, well. I saw a quick cut to Eli during the second half. I'll bet he was thanking whoever for his success in his 2 games, cause it coulda went bad for him twice!

Remember, Strahan had a pick 6 late in that first half that was called back on a questionable holding penalty. If not for the penalty, halftime would have been 14-7, and a very different game. But that defense was brutal, I'll admit.

And yea, that hit on the first Denver completed pass was crushing, and set the tone.

Denver came to play in a game. Seattle came to claim their trophy! I'm not a Seattle fan, but that team will be as good next year.

I really can't believe how suffocatingly brutal the LOB played on Sunday...and even when there were injuries there was someone else to take their place...the only injury I don't the think our defense could work through seamlessly is Earl Thomas...no one can truly step into his place on the football field
