I thought there was a piece of cotton in my atomizer, so I put a little needle down there to try and take it out..turns out it was some fabric? or sometthing that goes underneath the loop part of the atomizer..it didn't pull out..just kindof untucked from underneath the atomizer..but now..it doesnt seem to work very well..

That thread wicks the liquid to the atomizer. Worst case you can still use it, you just need to make sure your carts are very wet all the time.
People who drip remove those thread from underneath the bridge, as well as the filler in the cartridge. They modify the cartridge hole slightly and drip 3 or drops directly onto the atomizer. Only do this if you have a closed off battery. You can also get drip tips that let you bypass your cartridge modification all together.
