UK and indoor vaping

I was in the UK for all of last week. To my amazement, you can vape anywhere there. I thought for sure indoor use would be banned, but it almost seemed encouraged. The people there also, for the most part, are more educated on the difference between smoking and vaping. Never made it in to a UK vape shop as much as I wanted to do so. On non-US airlines, so far as you don't break out the rda, it seems use on a plane is also legal.

Not quite. Most establishments take the view that it is not illegal and has not been proved to be harmful. It's a live and let live attitude mostly prevalent in the UK.
There are, however, a number of big chain establishments who forbid the use of vapourisers. Their reasoning is that it is too difficult to police whether people are smoking or vaping. I can only assume that these people have no sense of smell.....
As a person who likes to partake of a drink or two i can confirm that it is a rare occasion when a pub or bar objects to the use of an 'e-cig'.

We are lucky in one respect - so far - in that the public health establishment is more pro-vape than probably anywhere else in the world. All the leading names support vaping. Unfortunately they have no effect on regulations as we're in the EU. Only a few crackpots are bleating the usual drivel, at least as far as the major figures are concerned.

The anti-ecig propaganda in the media is beginning to have an effect even here though, so it's time to do something about that.

There are some pub chains that ban vaping. Personally when I go for a pint i just end up going outside with my smoking friends when I want to vape. Otherwise I do some stealth vaping.

It's also banned on London underground however ive seen lots of people vape and no one takes much notice
