Unable to close notices at the top of the forum list

The option to clear notices at the top of the forum display has gone MIA. Or did someone forget to mark it as user closeable?

Generally, notices like that have had the option to close them after you've read them. As it's not something dealing with the site, I would expect the option to close.

i know but since it's just a little strip of a notice i figure i can live with it till it's gone by itself
