After being so good for so long (ok a couple of days) I have decided that I need a new series mod in my life.

I am torn between pulling the trigger on the MCV Elite or the MCM Underground. Anyone here have any experience with both? Any thoughts?

Also, I am keen to know if the Underground has the screws directly into the delrin like the Elite does.

Thanks in advance.

Both thread into the delrin but unless you completely disassemble the mod you won't ever touch those screws in either mod.

The MCM has a removable disc at the 510 while the MCV has a solid deck and adjusts to snug the battery at the bottom.

Both look good.
I have the MCV Elite clone.
It's very well built and works great.

The Elite is the best series I own, the simple and smart design is genius. So very simple to break down and clean so very easy maintenance.

For higher end gear unless I can physically get my hands on it before buying I'll get a Clone first then buy the Authentic if I like it. So I got a Clone of the Elite and Underground, ended up getting the Elite Authentic. Like I said the Elite is the best series Mod I own, machining is exquisite and one hell of a performer.

How would you compare the clone to the real elite

The Clone that I got the machining I had to clean up the threads a bit but it is very close to being a 1:1. The size and design are the same, the only thing that wasn't 1:1 was firing pin wasn't copper it is Brass. The Authentic being MCV the machining is exquisite. The performance of the Clone is close, so close that I have packed away my Authentic for safe keeping and use the Clone as my daily driver.

Yeah I do like it but the problem I'm having with the clone is the top Keeps on loosen up and I have to read tighten it down I think the threads are stripped and I don't know but like I said I got the resin version so I don't know how the other one will be I'm also kind of skeptical that the original would have the same problems

Also the top cat doesn't fit wash with the top of the box and there's probably a 1 mm gap but you do get some bad ones every once in a while when you get a clone

The Authentic doesn't have an issue nor does my Clone, the Clone I have isn't the resin so the resin may very well may be the issue. Also I just snug the screws and no problem with backing out. I also gifted a Clone to a friend and she's not having any problems with the threads stripping.
