if i may can i ask a question about the battery..? i have 2 battery currently in running with my eVic alternately (AW IMR 18650 2000mah and SAMSUNG ICR 18650 2600mah).. Is it normal that both battery can last for 2 days..? or is it because i vape too much (i think i do).. How long does your battery last..? thanks..

I run 1100 mah, 18490s in my prothingy. I get 6-8 hours on one at a time.
If I'm using just my MVP it'll last a day and a half.
There is so much that goes into battery drain that it's hard to really guesstimate; unless it's a constant same level drain, which in the case of vaping isn't the case. But the way you've put it sounds good to me. You have to take into
Account resistance, voltage setting, how long it's actually running on each drag, how often are the less on, how long are you in a menu....

You're comparing apples to oranges in a way. Yes, it is entirely possible for batteries with even similar specs to perform differently for the short answer. Batteries chemistry/circuitry/age of battery, come to think of it, the variable maybe even be more numerous then with coils, or at least close to the same.

Since you are running a regulated device you should be fine with ICR's. My best advice to you though is to buy from a trusted vendor and have a good charger like Nitecore intellicharger or one of Xtar's more reasonably priced models. Unplug them at night or when unattended as well. If you decide to try mechanical mods in the future use only authentic protected IMR's with a higher amp limit like the Sony VTC series.

I've seen quite a few debates with good merits on both side for this battery or that, but I have used Efest for awhile now and more recently a few different brands such as AW, MNKE and Sony's. The Sony's perform the best by far! Not trying to be "funny" but you are probably better off in the future using the search function as a number of these topics have been covered extensively already.

I never could tell the difference a battery could make until I got into mech mods. Some have higher internal resistances, but really, on a regulated device, it doesn't make that much of a difference. I had an AW 2000mah 18650 and in my SVD I cant tell the difference between that and a VTC5 or and Efest 35 amp. The best battery for regulated devices is the battery with the highest capacity. If you are really interested in how batteries can affect performance, there is a chart on one of those other forums that a man by the name of JKuro made. It compares internal resistances of some of the most widely used batteries. If you don't really care, just stick with sony and you will be fine. Those are some damn good batteries.

Somedays I used to go through all 4 of my 18650 batteries.

I mostly vape off the wall now.
