I've always used the regular ecig with disposable cartomizers. I just recently bought the Evapor kit from Smoke Free. This came with 2 tanks, one of which I am able to pull apart, the other not. I am assuming by what I've seen that this one can be reused with new guts, only I don't have a clue about these tanks. They tell you nothing about this, they'd rather you buy more tanks at around 42 bucks a hit. I'm betting there are other brand tanks I can buy and use with these batteries, I've seen them online for dirt cheap. If anyone is familiar with this brand or their equipment I would be forever grateful for any tips. I have no knowledge of tanks or their anatomy, all I know is I'm tired of getting my wallet sucked dry for lack of knowledge. Haven't touched a real cig in 2 years..

Welcome to ECF Ayla. Wow, I've just checked their website and their stuff is way too expensive! I don't know this equipment so can't answer if you can use another tank on that battery. It depends on what size the connector is. I'm sure someone who knows will pop in shortly.

Congrats on two years not smoking! Keep up the great work :thumb:

eVapor eGo eCigarette Kit , is that the kit?

It says its ego batteries, so you should be able to use any tank that will fit egos. T

Thant tankomizer looks like it should have a replaceable head, but I can't find replacements anywhere. There are all sorts of less expensive things you can find to go on top of your batteries. That site does seem very overpriced.

Ah, ECF is not letting the link work. Basically, the link was to the evapor kit on the smoke free site. The contents of the kit is listed:

"The Smoke Free™ eVapor kit is the best thing for the advanced Vapers out there. It will contain two powerful manual eGo™ batteries (650mAh) these batteries are so powerful that they are actually 3 times as powerful as our standard automatic batteries (180mAh). This means, MORE Vaping and less charging!

Each Smoke Free™ eVapor Kit will also sport two double-coil refillable clear Tankomizers. The unique double-coil technology produces a thick, smooth vapor and intensifies the flavor! Each Tankomizer has a 2ml capacity, so, more vaping less refilling!
All these, plus a USB charger with an AC outlet adapter are packed in a luxurious carrying holster!

Contents of the Smoke Free™ eVapor Kit:
1 – 650mAh manual batteries
1 – 1.6ml refillable double coil Tankomizers
1 – USB charger
1 – AC power adapter
1 – Zip-up holster carrying case"

This vendor has NO contact details, NO phone number, NO address.
Another queefin quit kit hack...

I can tell it's a crap vendor just from their prices and lack of information. It would be helpful to be able to share links so that we are sure we are talking about the same product.

Ayla- I did some more googling around, and that "tankomizer" really looks just like a stardust or ce4. I don't use ego batteries, so I can't reall make a good recommendation for what you should get. A lot of people like the evod clearomizers on their ego batteries. I use the protank, which is very similar to the evod in construction, and I like it a lot. It's a bottom coil compared to these top coil ones (I think) you have. The bottom coil leads to less burned hits (for me). The heads are replacable at $1 each or less.

Interesting ... Izan's link (Click here to get angry) works.

Ya, these guys really suck. What a rip off!

Yeah, it might be two different sites? I'm not sure one is "www. smokefreeonline.com" and the other is "shop. Smokefreeonlineshop.com". The prices and contents for the evapor kit appear to be the same.

Sp,

Your link was: www . sharesale . com /RIP OFF VENDOR. The "sharesale" part is why YOUR link was killed.
DO not post affiliate links.

My link was: www . RIP OFF VENDOR . Com. Direct to the site...and it works.

I copied the link from the www. Smokefreeonline.com and pasted this "http:// www.smokefreeonline.com/kit-evapor". ECF changed it to whatever is showing up in my post.

Welcome to ECF and the wonderful world of Vaping.
As you have already seen, there are many choices to be made in equipment and price.

I would highly suggest you do a lot of research before continuing with your gear or updating again. Things can get expensive quick if you do not have the correct information or just start shopping others recommendations.

You have at least a few useable things, although at 1000% over pricing.
I would suggest you have a look around Discount Vapors for some comparison and products with competitive pricing.
Also, avoid purchasing things like CE4 (disposable) and/or Filled cartridges. Both are useable and both are Money Pits at any price.
Serviceable Tanks/Clearomizers and Bottled E-liquids are simple to use and extremely cost effective.

For now, google
CE5
Evod
Boge F-16
Just to get a feel for variations and pricing

Best of luck on your journey and Ask before purchasing. Weigh your answers and make an informed decision.

I did click the link....and I did get angry. That is ridiculous.

No worries Ayla1984. I got ripped off on my ego-t from a shop near my job. It happens. But once you start researching and frequenting forums like this one..it wont happen again.

Are you referring to E-Cig City on University?

No....haven't been there yet.

I work in Corona. I'm referring to a little place that markets their own traditional e-cig, and is trying to make a few quick bucks selling knockoff Ego batts, mods, generic juice etc. even though that's not the market they're going after. Not TOO outrageously overpriced so I won't mention the name on here. I just should have known better before I walked in there y'know?

Seems most of the brick and mortar places are grossly over priced from what I've read. E-Cig City just opened up in April I think so it's only the second vape shop I've been to - not much selection in the Riverside area. I would only use them in emergencies, otherwise everything I buy is online. I got a couple Ego-T batteries at FastTech for $8 ea.

Yeah, been buying most of my stuff online the past couple of weeks. Been going to Vape Castle for my juice, wick, wire...etc. The bigger purchases i'll be making online for that reason. I do have somewhat of a budget to stick to. lol

Very good advice, I would make a small order first just to see if they work with your device. If they do, then you have standard 510/ego cone threading and can use almost anything out there. Just because you over paid once, doesn't mean you have to keep overpaying. Sites like the one you bought from take advantage of people who are new and don't know about places like ECF, we are on your side, and most of us love to help. Wishing the you best, and congrats on two years.

Thanks for the replies guys, yea I'm aware their prices are crap. I only use them because of convenience, they have a kiosk on our mall and replace batteries for free. I will say their juice is good, I've tried others and they do impress me. They just take advantage of people by lack of info on their product. They know you can get equal or better elsewhere. My big fear is getting something in parts and not knowing how to put it together. These are double coiled tanks, that much I know. Yes they are the smokefreeonline dot com. the website is actually way cheaper than the kiosk. You would shake your head in disgust if you saw what they charge.
