A friend of mine had me make her some unflavored to stealth vape with. I tried it, like people say it does taste like a Marlboro light. Wasn't for me though, to each their own. Also I would be very careful about the plane idea. Just last week I was standing to close to my smoke alarm, set it off! That was a first! But it happened.

Well, you have to expect that it's a MB Lite w/o the 4000 chemicals and burning smell :).

You'll have wicking problems if you're planning on using a tank and max vg.
You can dilute it with a little bit of distilled water or vodka and then it will wick fine.
my little experiment I put1.5 ml vg from an aroma shop in a little evod topper my eleaf set at 3.9 watts it worked set at higher watts a Burnt taste perhaps my vg is thinner than what will come from my first order from an eliquid shop - much to learn but a post by dannyv45 suggested it I believe also vg tastes sweet but doesn't really vape sweet

I've been known to occassionally vape straight unadulterated unflavored Vg (Glycerin) picked upover-the-counter from the local Walmart. It has its own mild sweet flavor (its used as a sweeter in a variety of foods), and produces a ton of vapor. I often will add a little Added Burst (concentrated menthol drops) from NicQuid to the straight Vg.

I still like a little nicotine in my juices, though (about 6mg). I like variety in flavors, changing up 3 - 4 times a day. Mostly fruits, coffee's, adult (bourbon), and menthol.

I've just started messing around with some DIY components.

I got my PG/VG from Essential. I mixed 15ml of each into a juice bottle I had just emptied. The few drops of flavored ejuice left in the bottle lightly flavored the PG/VG nicely. If I want to change out flavors in a tank without tearing it down and washing out the coil, I'll vape it almost empty and then run a ml of PG/VG through until the taste recedes. Then on to the new flavor.

I've started using unflavored nic juice as my end of day vape. Getting more into it.

I'm still in my experimental phase, and I've just been testing out all sorts of different things.

I bought a small bottle of Halo Fusion 24 MG nicotine a few days ago, because I was curious as to how unflavored juice was.

I tried it today, and it's not bad at all. Flavors are nice, but the main reason that I vape is because I need nicotine, not because I need a particular flavor.

I'm still going to stick with various flavors, because I like variety, but I'm also going to pick up some VG and PG and Nicotine and just make my own unflavored juice to have around.

Also, I guess that the unflavored juice is good for stealth vaping, like if I happen to be on an airplane.

Unflavored is really low maintenance. It doesn't gunk your coils, or concentrate in your tank. The thing that bothers be the most about flavors is that is doesn't all vape. The flavor just keeps getting more concentrated until I can't stand it and have to dump the juice. Well I hate doing that!

When I first started vaping my chief complaint was that the juice had little flavor. Once I quit smoking my taste buds started to recover and I began to enjoy lightly flavored liquids. Now, when I order a new juice and it is richly flavored it's just overpowering after a while.

There's one juice that I order in 100ml lots, two bottles of 50ml at a time. It's Mad 4 from Madvapes. By itself, it's nothing to write home about, but I add about 25% Madvapes Tobacco to it using a syringe from each to fill a tank and it's a good tobacco vape that isn't too strong, but satisfies the need for a light tobacco vape.

I'd like to find a juice that starts off as a good light tobacco ... no cowboy style favors, though. I like mild throat hit with good flavor and don't need something that irritates the throat. It's hard to judge other people's reviews of what constitutes a good tobacco vape.

Glad you are still having luck with Mad Vapes liquids. I gave up. Every time I found something I liked, usually Dekang, they seemed to decide to "improve" it. I gave up on them.

Lots of good replies here! I see that I'm not the only one who likes to vape unflavored sometimes.

But why does this thread have so many views?

Another thread here - The Juice Chronicles has 126 pages in it, and 47k views.

This thread is only 3 pages, I just started it a couple of days ago, and it already has 27k views!

    Something's fishy.

I wasn't exactly counting, but it was kind of hard for me not to notice the 27,297 views next to the topic, and then I scrolled down to see how many views other threads have, and I was a bit surprised.

It's almost as if some bot or something has been continuously visiting this thread and bumping up the view count. Why, I have no idea.

I've been using unflavored in a 70/30 ratio for half a year or more. It seemed like I quickly tired of even the flavors I actually liked. Haven't gotten tired of unflavored yet. And yes, the coils last much longer.

I vape that ratio unflavored (for the most part) at 12mg. I think those that like the unflavored also save a ton of cash.... Depending on where I buy from, I can make a 30ml bottle for around $1- 1.25 :) Then, when I do want a touch of flavor, I'll add a few drops to my tank or bottom feed bottle and that gives it just enough for me :)

I think the flavor hounds tend to lean toward vendor threads. So that is where those views go. There usually isn't much interest in unflavored, but it does seem that more members are coming around. It is much easier. I have always thought that flavors were over rated, but that is just me.;)

Please, do not call me or my vapor friends bots! :D

I've been using unflavored 6mg from Velvet Cloud Vapors for about 6 months and it's been really consistent and clean. The liquid itself is very inexpensive from the vendor and I'll usually watch for when they have a sale online to order again. Works great in RDA and RTA.

The best part has to be the no lingering smell. Your coils last much longer too.

I vape unflavored from Mt. Baker every day at work. 50/50 6mg nic in a Nautilus. The 240ml bottle I have was cheap and will last a long time. The VG tastes good to me. I change the coils out every couple of weeks just because I feel like I should. They could probably go longer with that juice.

When I first started vaping, I'd take my favorite flavored juices to work and quickly get tired of them after vaping them all day. Now I keep the flavored stuff for when I get home and the flavors don't lose their appeal like they did before.

does nicotine have a distinct taste or is flavourless....if it's flavourless, won't you end up with a chemically undertone ?

Not at all, if you buy from a reputable place. For me, I can barely taste what it's made of. Some taste sweetness, vanilla, tabacco.
It's still Very satisfying. I've never gotten bored of it even tho I've been using it since about my start date here.
Doesn't hurt to put a drop of menthol or mint in it until you adjust.
